Could your Blorbo be trusted to cook unsupervised?
Yes
No
Every poll on this blog is about fictional characters only. This request was sent to us and we made a poll in response to it. Send any Blorbo-related question you want to our inbox and we’ll make a poll on which people can vote with their own Blorbos in minds
unpopular opinion probably but I actually like that ao3 doesn’t let people take back their kudos.
unlike social media platforms (which ao3 is not) where people unlike stuff whenever they think or find out the original posters’ moral compass doesn’t perfectly align with their own’s or whatever, and “likes” can be taken back at any time, ao3 treats kudos as something sacred. once you give it, it’s the author’s to keep forever.
Best part is if someone deletes their account, the kudos remains, and it just gets swapped over to a guest kudos instead. The body is gone but the love remains.
Dark inhun fic writers seriously deserve more recognition because they've been carrying the inhun fandom from the very beginning. Not only have they pushed the limits of how far both Inho and Gihun are willing to go, but they've also fully embraced the toxicity of their relationship, created an incredible amount of content around it and helped develop the fandom as a whole.

one of the best feelings tbh
💮 Inhun tarot cards 💮
Gihun gets all them roses/Inho gets the star lillies
the movie girl, interrupted is too good to be gatekept only for / associated only with the coquette community. more people need to watch it. more people need to cry because of it. more people need to be emotionally changed because of it. please give it a chance. it was beyond anything I’d expected
they call me blorbo torturer because all I do is whump that fictional man

forgot that being obsessed with fictional characters is not something normal people do. I hear someone say they’re too obsessed with a fictional character and for a moment I’m like “???? and what about it? isn’t that like??? normal???” then I realize that for a lot of people, it’s not.
I genuinely cannot imagine not being obsessed with the characters from the media I hyperfixate on and I genuinely cannot imagine not having a piece of media to hyperfixate on 😭
i was training a young person at work, and she referred to sexual assault as "SA" out loud, and i immediately was like, "no, it's sexual assault, call it what it is," bc idgaf if the algorithm overlords have taught y'all that you should fear direct language, how tf do any of you expect to ever address real issues with any amount of seriousness if you can't even say the words? imagine an advocate looking a sexual assault survivor in the eyes and asking "did he grape you?" it's absolutely fucking absurd, but these young interns and new hires are coming into an environment where we deal with survivors of all different kinds of abuse, and they're coming with the mindset that the words are as bad as the actions, and that makes them shitty at the job and look juvenile af
i HATE self-censorship for a lot of reasons, but being in crisis work makes it even more frustrating. who are you censoring for? like i am being so fr, WHO are you censoring for? have you even thought it through? people who have been raped know that they have been raped. if someone attempts suicide or is grieving someone who did, saying "sewer slide" isn't going to protect them from any of the feelings. a murder victim's family isn't going to feel better bc you said "unalived" instead of murdered. if anything, it's just extremely invalidating and othering. it's saying "what happened to you is so bad that i won't even say the word," which is NOT trauma-informed care. you are not protecting survivors/victims when you self-censor. the ONLY things you protect when you self-censor are the puritanical ideologies that are being encouraged by rich fascists who want your money and obedience
say the fucking words, guys. just say the goddamn words before i go insane!!!
maybe I’m too old but I’ll never understand “racist dni, transphobe dni, homophobe dni” not because I condone the harmful beliefs these people hold but because I don’t think the majority of people who are racist or transphobic or homophobic identify themselves as those things. like, to them they most certainly genuinely don’t see themselves as those things. so they’re not gonna read your dnis and think “oh dear! I have to click away from this blog immediately! phew 😮💨 almost interact with them accidentally offend the op there!”
on the contrary, you are displaying the things that can hurt or upset or trigger you to strangers on the internet just for what? an extra performative point? obviously I’m not gonna judge people who have these dnis on their blogs because it’s their blogs and what they do is not my business. so I apologize if this post sounds like I am being rude or judgmental or aggressive — sometimes I do have bitchy opinions on the concepts of Things people do, but not about the people who choose to do them. but yeah tbh I really think these dnis are about as useful as putting a “do not rob” sign in front of a bank or a “thief and intruder dni” sign in front of a house.
*I get wanting to take a stand. but I still don’t think it’s gonna achieve anything, which is just my personal opinion. you do you

writing is so funny because i could write nonstop for 9hrs and then hit a block where im like "how do i transition between this moment and the next?" and then i just dont touch it for 6 months

What if HDH woke up one day to find a mini Gi-hun and a mini In-ho in his house, and now he has to take care of two tiny things that look more like stuffed animals, each with half a brain cell?
