my coworker announces that he's off to the dentist. someone reacts with a tooth emoji. is this a statement of dentist solidarity? a wish for my coworker to return with more (or fewer?) teeth than he set out with? simple word association? who can say

these are just functioning members of society. i love them so much. my babies.

why is everything about climbing over arbitrary bariers rather than just learning and contributing? how many people aren't disables untill authority tells them that theyre not allowed to be tired, that theyre not allwed to take it slow? that they cant sleep in even if it's what they need? how many people could contribute to our world beutifully if it werent for unnecesery barriers to entry at every job and school? why do people have to be "good enough?" isn't every contributiom valuable? dont we all deserve our place and our voice?

In France and other countries last week it was clear that some people died from doing things they never would have done had they been thinking clearly. That confusion can happen to anyone and it comes sooner than people expect. Please, my Tumblr friends in places that will be getting very hot this week, be safe!
