I am so very tired

1 whole year and I feel no signs of stopping !!! When @renamistria showed me Wheedle's datamined sprite in 2024, I knew then that my fate was sealed….

I started playing Mistria as a way to distract myself. At the time, I hadn't been home for even a year after escaping a really bad situation. I didn't know who I was, what was in store for me after such a situation, and I didn't know what to do with myself because I couldn't draw and didn't want to leave my house. So I played and played and played. I think I spent all summer indoors just playing Fields of Mistria. And then the following year is when I finally met Wheedle in-game after the update. 🥹 Fiore materialized out of seemingly nowhere, and I paired her with Wheedle. Rena and I started plotting and planning our silly ship dynamics together. When I went into it, I wanted it to just be a silly thing to continue to distract myself. But I wasn't expecting to feel real genuine love for Wheedle, Fiore, and the world and characters of Mistria. Opening the game feels like returning home after a long day.

I was very afraid of posting my ship, which made me hold off sharing it for several months. I never yumeshipped before !!! Wheedle is my first and only, so I had to work through the initial feelings of embarrassment (I didn't feel like I had 'permission' to like him since he's nonromanceable in-game). Eventually I decided to start sharing my art of him and Fiore. The initial reactions from people were very funny, but I started to see more people talk about how much they like Scam Likely…. I never expected it to end up where it is now; dedicating almost all of my free time to telling Fiore's story. As Fiore grows in her own story, I grow too ♡ I'm happy I'm taking my time with it and honoring the slow burn because the passage of time does allow me to grow alongside her.

Edit edit: i originally included Palia's tamala cause i think the three of them would have interesting conversations as 2 witches vs town doctor. 🫣
