i honestly didn´t even realize this tweet was made to critique this woman i thought it was made to show us how badass this woman is
A few finer points:
No neonazis were beaten "almost to death". They got off with a few minor injuries. Considering that until not too long ago people got medals for shooting their brains out, I'd argue they shouldn't complain too much.
She was not in jail for beating anyone. She was in jail while awaiting trial on suspicion of being involved in the 'beating' (ever noticed that when they get into a fight and lose it, they always start calling it a beating?)
The fact she was held in inhumane conditions for over a year and the fact Hungarian politicians referred to her as "a criminal" (reminder: the principle is that you're innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. She was not proven guilty. Politicians having decided that she was guilty did not bode well) were the main reasons for the public outcry about her case.
The decision to put her on the ballot to get her immunity was excellent.
