Healer MC immediately outing themself at some point because one of the ROs is injured (potentially mortally so) and they just can't *not* heal them! Wonder how they would each react?
Tried to think on ways to answer this but I think inevitably it would be too spoilery as it would raise the question of why MC has that power or why they hid it, which would likely lead to MC confiding their secret with the RO. And the reveal will have to wait for the demo bc i will make it so awful \(0-0\)
So, I know we can romance any combination of ROs (absolutely wild that you're putting in the effort to allow that btw, so many checks and potential scene variations in the future) but I'm curious; will there be romantic relationships between any of the ROs in such a poly, or is the plan to have them all focused on the MC?
(Please say we'll at least see some of them kissing, imagine Kieran pouting as Aurynn/L kiss their cheeks. Or Nihm shyly asking any of those three for a kiss.)
Ye there will be romance between certain ROs but not between some others like Nihm and Rynn for instance, though of course the dynamics I have between the ROs are subject to change as I explore them in writingâor they may evolve past the timeframe of the main story. Even if any combo of ROs donât romance each other in a poly though, theyâll still explore a meaningful platonic relationship. :) đ
âPicture this. It's cold as hell. MC hates it. They're lying on the floor, cocooned in their blanket, trying to fall asleep. They could ask the RO if they...maybe...idk want to spoon a lil bit...but who would do that. Not them. No, they'll lie on this cold ass floor and die, if they must.
âThe RO has enough of the stink eyes the MC is giving them (like it's their fucking fault it's cold???) and offers to share. So, the MC (begrudgingly) scoots over and hides under the RO's blanket.
âThey turn into an octopus the second they're there. They push their head under the RO's chin, squeeze them with their arms AND legs (MC is tall so there's a lot of arms and legs to squeeze people with) and pass out.
âHow would the ROs react to that? (Crushing stage if possible)
Kieran: they wouldn't make the offer unless post-relationship, but finds it cute and endearing. Shakes their head good-naturedly and lets mc snuggle as close as they wish before wrapping their arms comfortably around mc as well.
Nihm: would just laugh and pick up their blanket and crawl over to MC and lay down next to them. Giggles when MC goes full octopus on em.
Lilith/Lucien: lifts the blanket and gives MC a pointed and amused stare. Entices mc over by making increasingly theatrical bogus claims like holy shit you gotta see this theres a three legged cat doin flips under here or just bein like im naked under here đ¤ Also goes full octopus on MC.
Samira: would only offer post-relationship or if no one was around to see--otherwise, she'd just give them her blanket. Tells MC to quit with their pitiful pouting and just get under her blanket already. Pats MC consolingly and stifles a smile as they wrap their limbs around her.
Aurynn: goes on and on about how WARM and COZY this BLANKET is and GOSH it sure is NICE until MC gets under the blanket if only to shut him up.

what's the ros opinion on nipple piercings/piercings in general?
Kieran: no strong opinions; they donât mind piercings, though donât wish for any. Certain piercings like nipple piercings tho would draw their attention more, much to their own embarrassment.
Nihm: they admire them and think theyâre pretty, though they donât want any on themself. Scared of needles.
Lilith/Lucien: hot đ they would play around with em themself if things were different, largely as a means of expressing their own autonomy. Itâs a level of self expression they see as a luxury they donât haveâif they played around, theyâd want it to be bc they want to, not out of spite for their mistress.
Samira: likes em on people and herselfâshe has her nose and bellybutton pierced. And fuck it I wanna add nipple piercings to that list too.
Aurynn: doesnât care if others have em, but despite his own ear piercings and grafted jewelry, he hates his own. Fears pain and needles and views it as a violation of his autonomy.
On a beach trip what would everybody be doing assuming they aren't trying to get MC or Sam to get over their fear of the water?

Kieran: swimming/fishing/reading. Getting their white ass sunburnt despite their efforts to cover up.
Nihm: would def collect seashells and point at all the lil sandcrabs. Builds sandcastles and mermaid tails over the legs of any willing friends and decorates them with shells and seaweed.
Samira: lounging on a chair/towel and reading. Getting a mermaid tail sculpted around her legs by Nihm.
Aurynn: here to look pretty. Falls asleep sunbathing.
Lilith/Lucien: burying Aurynn in sand or putting objects on his stomach/back in a suggestive shape so the sun tans an outline around it. Evading a fuming Aurynn once he wakes up.
I think I had several Nihm MOMENTS with bug & other animal fun facts when replying to someone I LIKE. ME AS NIHM. đ I immediately thought of them when the weirdest shit almost escaped my mouth but I still dished out animal facts to an eyecandy I met on friday (who decided to also spend time w me over the weekend). I never had an eyecandy or crush before and I had to restrain from yapping/infodumping.
Me: do you have something against shorties?
Eyecandy: NO, i love them. (looks at me meaningfully)

I'm sick with a cold and I want my favorite blorbos from my favorite IFs to suffer, so I wanted to ask, how good of a patient are the RO + Alektis when they are sick? Are they insufferably whinny? infuriatingly workaholic? Surprisingly responsable? Expectedly useless at taking take of themselves? I feel like Aurynn and L would cough/sneeze on each other just to get the other sick on purpose

Kieran: attempted workaholic but surprisingly reasonable if called out, though they arenât pleased about it. They donât like feeling like a burden or like they arenât pulling their weight. Finds it hard to sit idle but will rest if chastised and called out.
Nihm: pretty reasonable. Theyâll follow docâs orders but their own ditziness can sometimes render them a dumb little mess in taking care of themself and they need some supervision. Idiot baby.
Alektis: very angy and stubborn. Makes for a rather frustrating patient if she disagrees with something or doesnât fancy the taste of her meds. Sometimes is stubborn just out of spite. Can be eased into following directions if they come from someone close, like Nihm.
Lilith/Lucien: they will usually hide any symptoms like an animal hiding weakness as they donât want anyone to ever know theyâre sick or injured. Theyâre a good patient when under supervision, though very much a simpering attention-whore, but as soon as you take your eye off them, they go back to masking and trying to do things.
Samira: sheâs actually very hypocritical in this regardâwhile she will abide by a regiment of healing, she will act like sheâs not working when she is or is well enough when she isnât. Canât sit idle and works too hard. Sheâs not used to being the one cared for and it is an unfamiliar and therefore uncomfortable feeling at times.
Aurynn: usually with wounds, he often avoids seeking care like the plague and will try to mask it and deal with it himself. With minor illnesses like a cold, heâs a whiny dainty pillow princess who cannot so much as lift a finger. Look how pitiful he is. Ohhhh woe is him.

I am so angry and I can't kill this guy I work with so projecting violence on fictional characters is the next best thing (even thoigh I know realistically the answer will be in a few days at least, statistically I'll probably be angry with him again by then)
So the question: if the characters were angry enough with someone to kill them, how would they do it?

Kieran: they arenât inclined toward violenceâthe offense would have to be great to warrant death. And even so, Kieranâeven in their angerâisnât cruel. If they didnât leave it up to a capital execution, theyâd make it quickâa clean run-through with their blade.
Nihm: now it takes a lot to genuinely piss Nihm off, and even then theyâd never hurt a flyâbesides, they cannot stand the sight/smell of blood. It would take something of a very serious magnitude indeed to spur them to kill someone and be able to live with that personâs blood on their hands. (>:3) As for the method, wellâŚ.spoilers.
Lilith/Lucien: theyâve killed before, but itâs never personal. They do have one person on their list they want dead and that is very, very personal. Their methods are usually much cleaner, but in this case theyâd be emotionally volatile and violentâsomething like straddling their victim for a repeated stabbing while screaming. Babe would be covered in blood.
Samira: she does not relish in methods of violenceâit would take a lot for her to resort to murder, but her anger would likely be a colder one. With her knowledge of poisons, venoms, and medicine, sheâd make it look like an unfortunate accidentâeither a poisoning or snake bite, and sheâd cover up the evidence afterwards.
Aurynn: not so much the type to resort to murder out of angerârather it would more likely be fear or something traumatic that would spur him to kill. It would probably be a spur of the moment killingâsomething sharp and quick, but not so quick that he doesnât have to sit and watch with horror as he realizes what he just didâlike throwing out an arm in defense and slitting their throat and being drenched in an alarming amount of blood as their weight sags on him. :)
You've shared before that Nihm, L, and Aurynn all wear gloves / would find removing their gloves during emotionally or physically intimate times with the MC a sign of deep vulnerability. Do they already feel comfortable removing their gloves around each other (like when they're being very close with each other, or, for L and Aurynn, who we know have slept together, during sex with each other)?
And why does removing gloves sound so devotional after typing about it so much, lol
They know what each otherâs hands look like and see them sometimes but none of them are really inclined to ever remove their gloves unless made to or alone. In each otherâs presence, they opt to keep them on if they can. They have had moments of vulnerability with their hands together in the past, but its a very sore and painful subject for all of them. đ
Going to irrevocably damage international diplomacy by killing every single bug that comes within a 5 foot radius of MC. Will step on Nihm's hand in my haste atleast once.

In honour of national bugs day, what's nihms and alektis fave bugs, and if they were to be bugs which one would they wanna be?
They both love bugs đ đ đ sm theyâd struggle to single one out as a favorite by far, but Alektis is rather fond of dragonflies and would be one if she were a bug, as it has sentimental meaning to her and reminds her very distantly of summers by the lake with her late mother and siblings. Nihm would probably be a luna mothâthey have memories of watching them with their late brother and father, and furthermore they find them very pretty and dreamlike. Like they could just go to sleep and float away above it all⌠(evil foreshadowing) đŚ
