After the deaths of your four oldest siblings, taken from you by war, your older sibling, Nour, once fifth in line for the Solar Imperial throne, is now the heir.
This day never should have happened.
As recompense for the ravages your kingdom’s war has inflicted upon the Lunar kingdom of Celestyl, and as assurance it will not happen again, your sibling is to be sent to Celestyl to marry the Lunar King’s heir. An arranged marriage, meant to unite the kingdoms. Or, at least that’s how everyone prefers to phrase it. But you all recognize this for what it really is: a guise. Your sibling will be a political hostage.
And—Theia, grant you guidance—you have had a premonition this is not the worst to come. Should your sibling go to Celestyl, they will not survive.
So you will take their place.
Stygian Sun: Total Eclipse is a dark fantasy interactive fictional story where you play as the sixth child in the proud and grandiose Solar Imperial Dynasty and leave your homeland for a foreign country, where you will take your sibling’s place in an arranged marriage to the heir to the Lunar Kingdom. But something sinister simmers on the horizon—you have felt it in your premonitions; apprehension crawls beneath your skin, foreboding pricks at the back of your neck, dread sinks low and heavy in your stomach. Theia is warning you—of what, you know not, but you have seen the way the Lunar King looks at you. His stare, the dagger, and you, the sacrificial lamb on the altar.

assuming this is like a modern AU since in game weddings dont have the dress/suit standards (tho some of em would probs even just not have a trad wedding and do somethin else/custom):
Kieran: suit for m! and a modest dress for f!
Nihm: a suit sorta but not the classic black/white tux—they’d go for something more colorful and more gnc
Lilith/Lucien: both variants would be cool wearing a gnc suit or a combination of a suit/skirt thang. Would wear The Banana for the afterparty
Samira: would prefer a handmade or handed-down dress
Aurynn: he’d prolly go with something in between a dress/suit or a different style of garment altogether

They both usually opt for more ornate hairstyles. Lady Helia has a fascination with cattle egrets as her father owned many with his cattle, and so she usually shapes her hair to mimic bird wings. Soleil usually wears a long braid down her back adorned with jewelry and styled in more detail along her scalp.
As for the retainers:
Parim’s: both Yari and Sandris were quite similar in terms of personalities and people would often joke if they were identical twins, they’d be unable to tell them apart. Serious, inquisitive, intelligent, quiet, and patient.
Castor’s: Acanthis and Cleometra were both rather dutiful, though Acanthis in a much more spirited way and Cleometra in a more graceful way. Acanthis was the more forward and loud-spoken of the two—though not in a blunt way—while Cleometra was more subdued, fluid, and elegant.
Ember’s: Yasmin helped keep Ember in check in a more ‘I can and will tie you up and drag you to your meeting’ kind of way. They were sort of no nonsense in a mischievous way in that they weren’t afraid to mess with Ember right back to get them to behave. They both had a back and forth going on with each other in that regard. Nonchalant, clever, calculating, charismatic in a more subdued way.
Update comes. Terrible storm or whatever the fuck destroys the ship. Every ro, alektis, and every side character on the ship fucking dies. Mc drowns but is saved by a peculiar tail-ed stranger. You introduce a new roster of ros and characters. Surprise: this was a mermaid game all along

So, as a reaction to this ask, so, here's one thing about dear Callum, this creature(endearing) is as ace as ace can be, might as well only be able to reproduce through binary fission. On top of that, as an artist and a healer, they're very used to seeing naked bodies in anatomy studies or the like, their opinion is just "Ok, that's A Human Body, there's a lot of interesting variation in bodies, they can be very beautiful, but I don't see the big deal", also just much more interested in drawing other animals anyway
So I imagine that this happens after Cal has gotten more comfortable around L, while they're drawing, and they simply look up like "can I help with anything?", not paying attention, gets very focused when drawing, and after the offended reaction, Cal goes "Oh, Im sorry, it's just.. I didn't notice any difference? I mean.. thinking about it, the contrast of your hair and skin agaist the coat is pretty striking, you'd be very fun to draw. And purple really suits you, goes well with the yellow of your eyes... tho I might be biased, purple is my favorite color" All while looking at L with the same focus they give to their references and paintings, pointing out things about them that would look good in a painting
And also, horniness will at best be met with indifference and at worst discomfort, if L wants to fluster Cal, what they gotta do is be romantic with them, like, tuck a flower (made of paper, they're allergic) behind their ear and tell them something true and beautiful, that will do the trick
L can play both sides of the game--lusting simp and/or romantic simp. For as horny as they are, they're also a tragic ass romantic and are cool with an ace partner so 👍❤️ under all the snark, they're a goof and have more serious introspective sides and care about all their friends sm :3
You know the funniest thing you can do is make it so L is not Luca. Just someone with conveniently placed burn scars. That would be. So funny.

Theorycrafting time! So, given the apparent foreshadowing that L is Luca, I'm gonna guess that (if that's true) the fire that destroyed their home was the result of their magic awakening. It would definitely explain them choosing to run if they thought themselves responsible for the deaths of their family, regardless of how much actual fault they hold.
Also, I'm going out on a limb and guessing they may have some kind of ability to connect to others via their dreams/astral project, though that's less predictable and controlled, so they aren't fully aware of it or their continual visits to MCs dreams.

(In all seriousness I absolutely adore how you write your characters, they’re all so expressive and visceral and utterly human. I also love how you portray the MC and their emotions cause it adds so much to their character and it makes them really feel like a person that’s in the story and not just a robot doing things to progress the plot.)

Not because they wouldn't want him that way. They just wouldn't want to go too far with someone who works this closely with/for them.
His relationship with sex seems to be complicated, and I'm wondering if he would be actually relieved that this isn't something MC wants from him. At the same time, his ego seems to be bigger than his balls, and I could see him get offended that MC would sleep with everyone but him.
I could totally see him seducing MC. Not because he wants them - he just wants them to admit that THEY want HIM. And then leave before any sex actually happens, lol.
Unless MC like straight up insulted him and hit a nerve, he wouldn’t be offended—he’s actually never really instigated anything beyond kissing between him and MC so far. He has considered it, but fears MC too much. He’ll only start making offers of sex after going to Celestyl for other reasons. His relationship with sex is quite complicated, and L will give you a warning in a future update if the player has any romance points with Aurynn, which you should heed :))))
If he and MC started getting closer or more physical, he wouldn’t understand what they want from him if not sex and he might grow frustrated bc he is confused. It will take a few more pivotal points in his arc for him to realize what MC wants and even then, he still cannot fathom it and it will break him 💖🌈🐛✨
