After the deaths of your four oldest siblings, taken from you by war, your older sibling, Nour, once fifth in line for the Solar Imperial throne, is now the heir.
This day never should have happened.
As recompense for the ravages your kingdom’s war has inflicted upon the Lunar kingdom of Celestyl, and as assurance it will not happen again, your sibling is to be sent to Celestyl to marry the Lunar King’s heir. An arranged marriage, meant to unite the kingdoms. Or, at least that’s how everyone prefers to phrase it. But you all recognize this for what it really is: a guise. Your sibling will be a political hostage.

if mc has scars from overextending their magic, will the ros have reactions to it? if so, will there be any differences at all depending on what kind of magic they have? cause i feel like overextending with like fire for example has a few different implications as opposed to overextending with healing and protection

I feel sorry for Nour. Imagine you get married to someone and all you can do is to die. Meanwhile if your sibling takes your place they'll survive (maybe) and return with 5 lovers. MC is just built different what can you do 💅

Kieran: def the type to do the footprint thing with mc, as they are very devoted and would be besotted with a partner. To have it flipped around on them will take much getting used to—they grew up neglected and having their devotion to others be unrequited and one sided. Having someone take notice of them so intimately renders them shy and self conscious and ofc plays into their childhood fantasy of being swept away by a prince/ss/ps.
Nihm: not used to being so noticed as they often go overlooked or left out—for their own good, according to others, and particularly post end game they’ll have their reservations about accepting such depth of affection, but having someone take notice and be enamored with even the smallest things about them inspires butterflies and such adoration. If others can love them so wholly after everything, maybe it’s ok to spend whatever they have left loving everyone else just as deeply too.
Lilith/Lucien: uxorious is def a word I’d use to describe them. Despite their own guilt complexes on whether they deserve this, they really can’t help loving their friends/fam/partners and would meet mcs devotion with the same intensity. They so badly want a life like this if they can have it. No one could deny the two were absolutely two sides of the same coin and head over heels in love.
Samira: she is so accustomed to others treating her like an evil blight no one wants to come near and is so used to being the one who takes care of others given she had to step in as her family’s caregiver rather young after her Pa’s death rendered her father grief-stricken and later as his body deteriorated and he could not work. She would be slow to learn to accept someone taking care of her instead but it would come to be surprisingly pleasant, and much more so to have someone love and cherish her so intimately. Inspires butterflies and embarrassment both, but she’d fall harder for mc every day.
Aurynn: would take a long time to get over the shame/insecurity given his bg and self-image, but it sure does play into his childhood fantasies of being swept away by a prince/ss/ps and the only thing he’s ever really wanted was to be wanted and loved. Renders him shy and quiet and filled with an aching longing as he slowly comes to accept this is safe and real and as he falls further in love with and devoted to mc every day. MCs little pillow princess.

Lilith/Lucien: “babe said they on their period so so am I. It’s uterUS 🤝” every time mc cramps they ask mc to punch them in the gut too if only just to make them laugh at the suggestion.
Samira: prepared with pain meds and warmed stones to act as a heating pad. Finds it kinda stupidly cute/amusing seeing mc get whiny and demand pillow princess treatment and obliges it to a degree with a good natured roll of her eyes
Aurynn: one of the only occasions on which he will cede his title as pillow princess to mc. Serves as a good distraction to lift mcs spirits or just chill with em.
