This is a PSA that your Shakespeare-drawinâ weirdo is still alive. Iâve started a new teaching job. Once I get into the swing of it, itâll be back to your regularly programmed literature doodles.

Listen, I'm not saying that I took the setting and clothes almost directly from the movie Ever After, but...I didn't not take them from Ever After.

Henry V - son of Henry IV Parts 1 and 2 - was born to be a hero.
Much Ado comic preview! It's a traditional comicky interlude to a much larger infographic.Â
Another preview of the History of You infographic! My approach to explaining grammar is "fewer charts, more Beatles."
International book covers of Shakespeareâs Hamlet.
Picture of Henry Vâs emblem, a chained swan, that I canât stop laughing at.Â
Swans. Theyâre so pretty and romantic but if you get close will make horrible honking noises and literally try to bite your face off. What a good mascot for a Plantagenet.
Funny tie in â my family name is Squier and the swan is part of our family crest.
Growing up my father became very invested in tracing our familyâs history and linage as far back as he could and because of the crest he became a fan of swans.
That is until the day one tried to kill us all. We were canoeing in a local stretch of river, oblivious to the swan nest until an agry male jumped into the canoe and attacked my father, after it shoved him out of the boat â thatâs right it pushed a human man out of his own boat â it came after the rest of us. Our canoe sank and we had to swim to shore like a bunch of fools.
Now the Squier family crest is displayed in my home ironically.Â
believe me when I say I have heard a lot of swan attack stories in my time but this is the best swan attack story

no, YOU watch too many talk shows
(preview from a long comic about the history of the word "you" in English)
WHO knows Old English?
Hello followers! I am working on a comicky infographic and need an Old English translation of a Beatles song, for the nerdiest of reasons. It's super important because I really need to make this pun work. Are you ready. For this pun.
An Old English translation of "Eight Days a Week" by The Venerable Bedles (BEDLES, GET IT??? haHAAAAA. Anyway, I gave it a shot with my very limited knowledge):
ICÂ ÄINNEÂ LUFE BIÄEARF, LÄOF
IC ÄENÄE ÄĂTÂ ÄĹŞÂ WITE TĹ SĹÄ
IC HOPIE ÄĹŞÂ MÄŞNNE LUFE BIÄURFE, LÄOF
SWÄÂ BIÄEARF ICÂ ÄÄ
....Is that OK? Slash would anyone like to fix glaring errors that I'm sure are there?
