“Am I the craftsman, or the bath, or what?” Harry finally asked. 

“You are the copper,” Severus answered.

“Is it like… a wish? Feels like that.”

 “Yes, Sir.” Harry turned his head into Snape’s hand, and closed his eyes. He didn’t  really think he would fall asleep, but after a few minutes of listening to Snape’s quiet breathing, he dropped off."

“It was Severus’ mugshot, and there the man was, barely out of his teens, radiating malice like a scornful sun and sneering back at the camera with two fingers held up. His nails were varnished black, and his face was bruised and bloody, and he looked like a damn hooligan. “It was late afternoon, on a frigid, rainy Sunday at the end of February. Severus was sitting on the couch, and Harry was sitting on the floor, leaning back against his legs. He had his Transfiguration text open on his lap, but Severus was pretty sure he was dozing."
