STEEL BALL RUN EPISODES TO BE RELEASED WEEKLY FROM EPISODE 2
I’m back guys! Hope everyone is doing well - I was planning to make a post today regardless but the official Netflix anime account has just announced that episodes will be released weekly once batch 2 is released!! Batch 2 is expected to release in Autumn 2026 so….. In quite a while 😭 Check it out the post here.
While I’d prefer having all the episodes weekly instead of the batch system.. I’ll take it. The important thing is

Now that we have an actual timeframe for batch 2 coming out too, I’ll start the countdown back up again. See you in an hour!
I'm glad that they're going to be releasing weekly and I'm glad that they're taking their time to produce the episodes, however it's genuinely insane that they decided to release the first episode alone. Maybe i'm misreading the situation, but it's really disappointing that it took tons of fan backlash for them to release this schedule. Overall, what Netflix is doing is pretty scummy as people signed up after the first episode because they expected regular releases. But I guess Netflix being scummy isn't all that surprising.
tl;dr I'm glad we have a timeline now, but I am disappointed that Netflix decided to release the first episode by itself.
