Hi everyone, Mod Kat here! Recently I received an anon requesting to extend this fanweek into the future, which I considered for a bit before ultimately deciding to do just that. I have personally had a very busy summer with little free time, and I imagine many people could also use some extra time. Please note that the week will now be taking place in mid-August, NOT July!

This summer, let's celebrate everyone's favorite dinosaur jockey, again! Whether that's through art, fic, edits, cosplay, or however else you like to create for fandom, the prompts are as follows:

➣ August 9th - past / ambition ➣ August 10th - team-up / creatures ➣ August 11th - coffee / fate ➣ August 12th - scary monsters / future ➣ August 13th - otp / crossover ➣ August 14th - fame / fortune ➣ August 15th - free day!

Rules remain the same as last year: NSFW is allowed, but please tag and use content labels accordingly! Ships are also allowed and encouraged, as long as Diego is the focus. The prompts are up to your own interpretation, feel free to skip days or even do multiple prompts! The goal here is to have fun and show appreciation for Diego Brando.

🏇🏻 Diego Brando Week '26 ✦ dates tbd🦖

Hello everyone! Happy year of the horse and long-awaited release of the first episode of Steel Ball Run!! As stated last year, I'm planning to host another Diego Brando Week in late summer, I just need interested parties to cast their vote as far as when they'd prefer it take place!

If you haven't had a chance to peruse this blog and check out everyone's work, I really encourage you to do so! I wasn't sure how much participation to expect but it was such a joy to see all the different interpretations of the prompts. Keep an eye on this blog for future events, as I'd love to host another sometime! The last time I ran a fan event was in 2019, so it was very fun to return to something that's always been one of my favorite facets of fandom.

And, if you happened to miss out this time, no worries! There's no real timeframe, if you happen to create something for one of the prompts I'd still love to reblog it here! I regularly track the Diego Brando tag so chances are I will see it!
