Fluffy, lighthearted and funny (in-universe)
The ones that make us smile and feel warm inside; the silly, adorable, much needed ones. A mild level of angst can still be expected in some of them, but the general vibes are the happy, humorous ones.
The Greasy Pole, by AppleSeeds. Rated T, 4k. P. Feb 25.
Lovely, funny, lighthearted story. Sort of canon-divergent, set before the events of S1, Furfur has been promoted to Temptations and asks Crowley’s help on how to do the job successfully. Crowley shows him, with Aziraphale’s help. That was lucky, wasn’t it? You can never go wrong with AppleSeeds!
Be My Valentine, by Mizmak. Rated G, 6k. P. Feb 26.
Sweet and fluffy post S1 Valentine fiction! Aziraphale and Crowley are trying to summon the courage to confess their feelings to each other. Angst-free fic full of flowers, chocolates and romance. Lovely!
The Chase Is Only Part Of The Fun, by Tigerseye67. Rated G, 520 words. P. Jan 26
Incredibly sweet and fluffy fic depicting a possible post S1 future. Such heartwarming vibes, I loved it!
You Rang? By PinkPenguinParade. Rated G, 781 words. P. Apr 26.
Lovely and very funny fiction in which Crowley is summoned and his husband comes to take him home, thank you very much. Great married couple dynamics between Crowley and Aziraphale.
Christmas Magic, by Tigerseye67. Rated G, 1.5k. P. Dec 25.
Lovely and delicate in universe fiction where Aziraphale impersonates Santa Claus in a shopping centre grotto. And Crowley, of course, helps. Heartwarming.
A Snow Job Cock-Up, by LemonTart. Rated M, 1,2k. P. Jan 25.
I loved the silliness and the humour of this post canon, established relationship fluffy story!
Good Omens Flufftober 2025: Letters, by AngieWords. Rated G, 666 words. P. Oct 25.
What a tender and sweet ficlet! The writer captures the bond and the love between our Ineffables beautifully in this post canon fluffy story! While looking for his belt in his and Aziraphale's cottage, Crowley finds some letters.
Lap Of Luxury, by Savyl. Rated T, 4k. P. Jan 26.
I am so blessed that my friend wrote this lovely, romantic and funny in-universe story for me! I can’t begin to tell you how much I love it! The humour is outstanding as always in Savyl’s stories, and their love and bravery are so heartwarming! Aziraphale and Crowley are relaxing in the bookshop. When they get too close for heaven and hell’s liking, Soho is hit by a thunderstorm.
Matters Of Perspective, by NaturallyTeal. Rated M, 3k. P. Jan 26.
I am so chuffed that this fantastic, fluffy and sexy post canon fic was written especially for me! Teal plays beautifully with the POVs, and the result is a mix between hilarious and heartwarming. Plus, Angel claims Demon, enough said. I thoroughly loved it!
The Weather Outside Is Frightful, by IneffableMoot, Savil. Rated T, 5k. P. Dec 25.
Funny and sweet pre canon story in which Crowley and Aziraphale exchange gifts and challenge each other to a duel on Christmas day. The humour is great as always with this writer, and the art is lovely!
Good New, by caricari. Rated T, 3k. P. Feb 20.
Oh, the fluff and the sweetness in this fiction are incredible! Post season 1 story leading to their first kiss. Great characterisation, humour and cosiness.
Unplanned Niceness, by Savil. Rated T, 822 words. P. Dec 25.
Just a snippet of the lives of an angel and a demon on a random Christmas eve. Incredibly sweet and magnificently hilarious.
On Demons And Hellhounds, by cyankelpie. Rated G, 2k. P. Oct 19.
Post notapocalypse fluff. Aziraphale and Crowley visit Jasmine cottage and Crowley has a sweet conversation with Dog.
Love Is A Four Letter Word, by Dancer_in_the_rain. Rated T, 3k. P. Sep 23.
Season 2 never happened in this super sweet post canon story. After the notapocalypse, Crowley hopes that things with Aziraphale can move on in a romantic way. When Aziraphale befriends a human and seems to spend a lot of time in his company, Crowley is adorably jealous. Very sweet story!
Human Bonding Rituals As Emulated By An Ethereal/Occult Dyad, by graywings. Rated T, 1,2k.
Hilarious crack fic! It is narrated in the form of a study by God, Almighty; Christ, Jesus; Spirit, Holy on whether Aziraphale and Crowley are displaying human-like courting behaviour during their meeting in 1793. I laughed from the first word to the last, including the notes!
Crowley Has A Volvo, by Savyl (Aerenii). Rated M, 2k.
This is the most hilarious crack fic you’ll ever read. I was howling with laughter to the point that my husband had to come from the other room to check that I was OK. Judging by some of the comments I wasn’t the only one. At some point I had to stop reading because I couldn’t see anything through the tears (of laughter). Trust me. Aziraphale and Crowley are aware that the humans can manipulate their lives and create adventures for them. It’s usually harmless, enjoyable, even. But this time the human writing their story has made an uncomfortable typo.
A London Afternoon, by Tartan_is_stylish. Rated G, 1,2k. P. Sep 24.
With no Armageddon to thwart, Crowley is getting bored. No matter what he does, he can't get Aziraphale to pay attention to him. Lovely story with a very sweet ending! Crowley's characterisation is spot on and very funny!
Taking Some Pictures Or Something, by his_infinitevariety. Rated G, 2k. P. Nov 20.
Oh, the sweetness of this fiction! Post canon (written after season 1, but might very well be set after whatever will happen in season 3), Crowley gives Aziraphale his phone to take pictures while on a day out in the South Downs. Aziraphale discovers Instagram. They are so adorable and in love, and will make you smile so much!
Thoughts From The Other Head, by Aerenii. Rated E, 913 words. P. Jun 25.
Prepare to guffaw with this seriously hilarious fic! Every line will make you laugh harder than the other! In-universe crack fic where Crowley's cock can't take it anymore and has a heart to heart (well, I say heart…) conversation with Crowley. They need to tell the angel how they feel! A gem!
Far Too Much In Love To See by imperiousphasmid. Rated T, 9k. P. Jun 19.
Oh, the fluff and the sweetness of the fiction! Just what I needed! Crowley and Aziraphale live happily as a couple in the South Downs, but sometimes go to the bookshop for a day. Every time they go the same customer visits the bookshop. Jealous Aziraphale is simply adorable.
You've Got Kudos by curtaincall. Rated M, 4k. P. Sep 19.
Aziraphale and Crowley both write Good Omens fanfiction on Ao3. Crowley’s stories are sweet and romantic. Aziraphale’s stories are smutty and spicy. They love each other's stories without knowing who the writer is. This fiction was a treat!
My own Angel! Angel! They're At It Again! Rated M, 5k. P. Aug 24.
It's the year 2030. The world never ended. Aziraphale and Crowley are living happily and safely together as a married couple. Everything would be well, if it wasn't that lately Aziraphale has been a bit busy. A bit distracted. Now, Crowley can't have that, can he? He seeks the advice of his girlfriends, who unwittingly give him an idea on how to liven up his marriage. A fluffy and hopefully funny way to the South Downs cottage.
Angels Don't Blow Their Own Trumpets, by shaggydogstail. Rated E, 8k. P. May 24.
This story made me cackle! Crowley poisons himself by accident (well, by trying to be cool, point is he didn't mean to) and there's only an antidote that can save him. Please DO READ the tags for this one.
You Can't Un-See A Dog, by Dannye Chase (HolyCatsAndRabbits), HolyCatsAndRabbits holycatsandrabbits. Rated T, 4k. P. Jan 20.
This was one of the highlights of my month, fiction-wise! Crowley is summoned by two humans to be offered in sacrifice. Aziraphale knocks on their door within, like, 3 minutes. I just loved this story: The light banter and the interactions between Crowley and Aziraphale are chef's kiss; the adorable domesticity of their relationship shines through in a situation that really is not domestic at all; Aziraphale is being his incredibly brilliant self; AND there's a little mystery-solving thrown in for good measure! Top marks!
Anthony J. Crowley, Retired Demon And Airbnb Superhost, by TheOldAquarian, rated G, 3k. P. Dec 19.
A selection of reviews by guests who rented Crowley's flat on Airbnb. Very funny!
My own In Vino Ludus, rated E, 3k. P. Apr 24
It's the year 2030. Crowley comes to the bookshop drunk. An as of yet canon divergent fluffy night in the life of an angel and a demon. I was struggling with a chapter for a longer fiction and needed a lighthearted, fluff-filled, angst-free break.
Hold The Phone, by theRavenMuse, rated E, 1k. P. Aug 24
Crowley listens in on Aziraphale having intimate moments by himself. But phones work two ways. Lovely and hot!
A Newsworthy Affair, by WaitingToBeBroken rated T, 1k. P. May 24.
A funny, adorable, fluffy fiction told through newspaper ads that the editors of the newspaper never authorised publishing. If you're in need of something to put a big smile on your face, this is it!
A Christmas Miracle by IneffableChocolateCheeseCake and Ngk. Rated E, 4k. P. Dec 24
A sweet, hot, and funny in-canon story where supreme archangel Gabriel grants all the angels a free miracle to use for personal purposes one Christmas day. Guess how Aziraphale chooses to use his? Words by Ngk and art by IneffableChocolateCheeseCake. Lovely, lovely story!
A Nice And Accurate Teen Magazine Quiz by fellshish, rated T, 2.7k. P. Jan 25
Fellshish strikes again with this adorable and extremely funny piece in which Crowley takes credit for teen magazines in hell. Then he browses one of the magazines and takes the soulmate quiz. Then Crowley will be Crowley. I'm sure everyone this side of Tumblr has already read it, but if for some reason you haven't yet you're in for a treat!
Just Another Day, by Enderhuntress, rated E, 2k. P. Feb 25
Such a lovely and fluffy (and hot) slice of life in the future of our favourite Ineffables. This story is what awaits them on the other side of saving the world and we're all looking forward to for them.
Reunited, by CuriousPupsicle. Rated T, 2k. P. Jun 25.
This story is so full of fluff and humour, just the way I like them! The author in the story (who’s also the author of the story -the meta-author?) is trying to write a sweet scene between Aziraphale and Crowley, but keeps getting interrupted by a demon and an angel on her shoulders who have opinions on how the story (in the story) is going. It’s a treat!
Well Earned Rewards, by Aerenii. Rated M, 2k. P. Jul 25.
I am always in awe of the humour in this author’s stories and this one doesn’t disappoint! Post-canon, established relationship fic. Aziraphale asks Crowley to help get people to Nina’s coffee shop stand at a festival and promises rewards to motivate him. Challenge accepted, Crowley naturally behaves like a 4 year old (and we love him for that!). This fic is just so full of love: their interactions, their banter, their everything screams love! It’s the husbands at their husband-est!
The Great Porcine Potentilla Heist, by copperbadge. Rated T, 21k. P. Oct 25, but written after season 1.
Fantastic post season 1 fiction, full of teasing, pining and their typical obliviousness. Our Ineffables, finally free from heaven and hell, enjoy life in London between a trip to a secondhand bookshop and lunch at the pub. To escape a little situation they find themselves in, they take a holiday to Tadfield. Aziraphale wants to try sleeping. Crowley wants to steal a plant from RP Tyler. Everyone knows they are a couple except them. You know the drill. Humour, lighthearted feelings, love declarations. Lovely, lovely fiction!
The Least Eligible Bachelor, by fellshish. Rated E, 37k. P. May 26.
In-universe canon divergent/pre-armageddon fic, full of humour, longing and incredibly hot sex scenes. Aziraphale takes part in a reality TV show where he’s a bachelor who has to be wooed by the contestants. The contestants are, of course, demons. There will be roses, there will be bananas, there will be snakes, there will be love. This fic gave me early-canon vibes, which I was and still am yearning, and I’m grateful for them. As usual, this author has the beautiful ability to make you laugh and cry in the same sentence, and feel all the emotions in-between. Highly recommended!
Curse Of Attraction, by SazzyLJ, rated E,10k. P. Jun 24
Some members of Anathema’s family want to punish Aziraphale for refusing to restore Agnes’s book. The punishment is making him irresistibly attractive to anyone he comes across. I loved this story full of sweetness, great humour and spot on characterisation! It's a treat!
Pay Per View, by IneffableToreshi. Rated E, 22K. P. Feb 24.
Set after season 1. Aziraphale has an event to attend in Canada and asks Crowley to accompany him. Crowley is delighted to oblige of course, until some additional reasons for Aziraphale's trip emerge. This story features fanon!Crowley at his best! The fiction goes from tender to heartbreaking to smutty in a heartbeat and it's great.
The Bookseller And The Garden by oceantears. Rated T, 13k. P. Aug 23.
Fluff, fluff, fluff! Canon divergent fiction where Crowley is a demon stationed on earth, Aziraphale is an angel stationed on earth, but they have never met until present day. There's no end of the world in sight, only an angel and a demon falling in love and not knowing how to break it to the other that they're not human. I laughed all the way through.
Aziraphale’s Diaries by azzfell, fellshish. Total series words 10k. P. May 24.
This series is hilarious, warm and fluffy. So far there are four stories, all consisting in, yes you guessed it, Aziraphale’s diary entries. In the first story, Empirical study on the principles of snake care (rated T, 2k), Aziraphale suddenly realises he hasn’t paid enough attention to Crowley's snake-y needs. He decides he wants to make up for it. Hilarity ensues. Put your cup of tea down before day 6, trust me. In Experiments of an angel who has read entirely too much fanfic (rated T, 3k), Aziraphale discovers fanfiction shipping him and Crowley and decides he wants to test some of the tropes on the demon. Reading Crowley’s reactions through Aziraphale’s POV lens will make you feel warm inside. Drink down at day 10. In How to be a demon: a brief history of the Arrangement (rated T, 2k), Aziraphale recounts some of the temptations he’d had to do during the years, to honour the arrangement with Crowley. The last entry will make you melt. In Adventures of a mystery shopper in the bookshop (rated T, 3k), Aziraphale is worried that Crowley is getting bored, so he wants to help by giving him something to do. Peeps, for this one don’t even pick your drink up. You’ll end up spitting it all over your laptop/phone/tablet.

If you need some lighthearted, incredibly funny and extremely sweet read, this series will do what it says in the title. Your day will brighten up and you'll have a big smile on your face. If you need something to cheer you up, that's for you. Rated Teen and up.
Whickber Street Traders And Shopkeepers Association Daily Observations, by WaitingToBeBroken. Total series words 26k. P. Dec 23.
This series was incredibly funny and entertaining! The shopkeepers of Whickber street come up with their theories about the mysterious friend of the bookseller. Each story of the series is told from one of the shopkeepers' POV. The last story is Crowley setting the records straight and it only makes sense if read last, but the order you read the others doesn't matter. The last story is also the one dearest to my heart in the whole series. Prepare to fall in love with Mutt.
