Oh, the good old days of the final fifteen...

if this sort of content is too triggering for you to read about (and of course that’s okay) just know that it was beyond bad. just some really really vile, horrific stuff. neil gaiman continues to deny these extensive and detailed claims and is seeking revenge via lawsuits, because he doesn’t know when to quit.

it seems that a lot people aren’t aware of this, but false allegations are EXTREMELY rare. it takes massive amounts of strength and courage to come forward about this kind of thing, not to mention endure the backlash that occurs afterwards. nobody wants to go through that, especially when there’s a rich and powerful man involved. it’s brutal and it’s terrifying.

the best thing you can do is accept allegations as truth. yes, every time. yes, even when the perpetrator is your best friend or a celebrity you love. that’s what believing survivors means.

the incredibly brave women who came forward (and there were nine of them. nine. think for a minute about nine different people you know. that’s how many) are valuable, and their stories have meaning and importance. believe them. you can make such a difference.

i know MANY of you that have already made generous donations to charities that support survivors, but if you haven’t yet, i recommend our voice! our voice is a fantastic organization that i can vouch for personally, and it’s also the organization that neil gaiman himself said he would donate a large a large sum of money to and then never did. seems like a great way to help patch the hole he left in so many people’s lives, don’t you think?

There has been something wrong with Aziraphale since s2, but I was only able to put my finger on it now after the show's ending. Aziraphale was Terry Pratchett's character while Crowley was Gaiman's. I relate to Aziraphale in s1. I feel like I can understand him on a deep, personal level. But since s2, the mannerism is the same, but something is off.

Aziraphale as I understand him would not abandon his bookshop for years without finding a way to (sneakily, if needed) check on it and make sure all is well with it. Doubly so for Crowley. If he went to Heaven to help organize the Second coming (if he even trusted Heaven - they tried to burn him with hellfire!), he would find a way to involve Crowley without Crowley having to become an angel. They're on their own side, after all. Even if he was threatened (the popular "coffee theory"), he would find a way to comply with Heaven outwardly while staying on their own side - he has millenia of practice.

But that's not the Aziraphale we see in s2 and s3. Why? Because he's no longer Terry Pratchett's Aziraphale. Gaiman sees himself as Crowley, so he felt the need to make Crowley the one who's right, who loves the world more, who is better, and who was wronged. Retrospectively, it's visible from the very 1st scene of s2. It's the reversal of their roles. Before, it was Cowley who was besotted with Aziraphale since the first meeting when he got a glimpse of his true self. Now the roles are reversed. It's Aziraphale who admired Crowley since first meeting him as an angel. And all through s2 and s3, up until the very end, he still admires the angel without fully accepting the demon. This is not the Aziraphale I know.

And Crowley is different, too. Suddenly he is the one who would sacrifice everything for the world, while in s1, he didn't care for the world without Aziraphale in it. It was Aziraphale who was willing to do anything to save it. But Gaiman wanted Crowley to be more, as if loving Aziraphale so fully was not enough.

Maybe he does not understand loving someone as fully. Maybe he only understands how good it feels to be important. In s2, it wasn't as evident, and it could still be interpreted differently, but it is evident in s3. Gaiman did not want to honor his friend's memory, he wanted to be important, and in turn, he wanted Crowley to be important and outshine Aziraphale.

The thing was, up until the finale, I (and many others) was hoping that whatever was off with Aziraphale in S2 would be explained organically in S3 and it all made sense. That's why there were so many theories about the final fifteen, because our Aziraphale simply wouldn't have left Crowley in such a cruel way, there certainly was something else, something we didn't see on screen. Except, there was nothing else, hell, the metatron didn't even have an evil plan! He was letting Aziraphale get on with his universal happiness thing.

S2: Crowley stops Elspeth from committing suicide. Gives a big speech about this not being the answer btw. The whole Job minisode about how replacing his kids with new ones after killing the first ones is objectively a bad thing (duh). They really hammer in that Gabriel with no memories is not Gabriel

God may be tetchy, but would they really have let their children tear the world apart? Probably not. Didn't mean they had a suitable backup plan though. And what should you do when you're the Almighty ruler of the world and you have no backup plan when free will (*cough* incompetence) gets in your way? Why, shove everything into a void, "kill" yourself and hand everything off to your daughter of course! Or, God panics and Adam and the new Christ needs help rebuilding the world, and Aziraphale is desperately confused/depressed and has read too much Nietzsche.

Sometimes he’d overhear them whispering about him, staff and customers alike. “Is that another bottle?” One lady would mutter disapprovingly. “Heartbreaking to see someone waste away their life like that,” sighed a woman to her partner. “Why’s he wearing sunglasses inside?” A kid asked his dad, tugging on the man’s sleeve. “Do you mind if I take this seat?” Asked a man at Crowley’s elbow. He turned to look at the newcomer. He was smiling widely, his eyes crinkling at the corners. The man’s nose was slightly upturned and his hair a crown of ruffled white curls. ~ OR: After resorting to extreme measures to avert the apocalypse, a very miserable Crowley retreats to somewhere close to his heart and drowns his sorrows for months until his wallowing is interrupted by a mysterious stranger who knows more than he ought to and simply won't shut up.

It has been a month since Aziraphle has become the new Archangel of Heaven, and it's worse than he can possibly imagine. Due to Gabriel's poor management while he was in charge, Azirpahle has been playing catch-up with all the paperwork that Gabriel didn't bother to do. On top of that, while Aziraphale has a shiny new title, he still can't seem to garner the respect of his fellow Angels, and now without Crowley, is feeling more lonely than ever before. Meanwhile, on Earth, Crowley isn't doing much better. Depressed, he haunts the bookshop under the lame excuse that he's "supervising" Muriel in their new position as bookseller. That old, demonic spark has long gone, and all that's left is a very depressed, very heartbroken shell of his former self.

Coming Home - A Choose Your Own Adventure Story - E, 117k. Over 30 authors created a Choose Your Own Adventure fic for our ineffables to finally get down to business in the South Downs. Where will your choices take them?

I think for a lot of us it utterly failed and we are left with exactly that - a cruel writing choice that people tried to pad to make it a bit less hurtful. The analogy that’s coming to mind is cushioning broken glass with cotton candy so you can eat it. Like, that’s not how that works. If someone tries to feed you broken glass you refuse and then try to make sure they don’t do that again. And also cotton candy dissolves with the slightest moisture so it’s ineffective anyway.

Hi everyone, I am so excited to finally share the first chapter of this story with the fandom. I began drafting this fan fic back in 2025 and felt compelled to finish it after the finale. Because it was largely inspired by early concept art and old interviews regarding the planned sequel, the plot diverges significantly from what we saw on screen. I’ve written this with the intention of filling it with love, humor, adventure, and theological shenanigans, all while handling these characters with care.

In my imagination, they would use this ability to do the biggest miracle they could, together, to hide or block off earth from heaven and hell. Same ending of earth no longer being messed with, but they're still around, and still themselves. Anything like this would be amazing.

I don’t like it.

My reasoning is Aziraphale and Crowley are just completely out of character.

They would never agree to nix the earth and make a new one. They quite liked the old one actually. Even with its flaws. They love the world and the people in it. They would never be martyrs either. In season 1, they were prepared to fight against Satan with only a flaming sword and a hand crank, because the world is worth it. They drank champagne in The Ritz and toasted “to the world”.

On “Our” side. What happened to that?

Crowley loves Aziraphale and Aziraphale loves Crowley. They would never sacrifice themselves. They’d go down fighting. Crowley is protective of Aziraphale, he would never talk him into killing himself. Aziraphale would never let Crowley harm himself either. They’d protect each other, fight together for this world. The one they love.
