Look, I understand that you don’t condone any of the stuff these blogs are blacklisted for. But one of my friends, the proprietor of one of these blogs, is in tears and absolute panic over this post. I’m not here to slander hate all over this and the blacklist blog, just to remind you all of something very important. Many of these blogs- my friend, and the other members of these tags and ships do not condone any of these in real life. Its stated over and over on their blogs, their tags are clear and consistent so people can block them if they wish, and they aren’t here to hurt anyone.

These characters are members of cartoon universes, and are therefore obsolete and incorrect representations of real life. IF you want to find true normalizations of pedophilia and incest, feel free to blacklist the thousands of real-life bro dicks fucking their mothers, and the countless amounts of child porn scattered across the internet. But by no means should you shame these people who have literally done nothing to deserve being called out. These are small blogs, with small followings of people that are very careful about how they tag things and such. Now because of this post and many other posts like this one, They’ll get massive amounts of hate.

These blogs don’t even need to be blacklisted most of the time! Just block the tag of choice, and its done. If something wanders across your dash that you dislike, then ignore it. It happens. If its a trigger, leave a polite ask, or blacklist them, do what you need to do. Just please, please, please don’t publicly shame them like this. It just encourages hate- and we all know how hate in your ask makes you feel.

just because you claim not to condone the normalization - the trivialization of CSA survivors - doesn’t mean that you really live by your words. normalizing, trivializing and FETISHIZING the experiences of csa and incest survivors like this is literally what they’re doing! and they don’t even seem to mind! its so easy to make light of an experience you’ve never lived. if theyre not a survivor, they do not have the right to use these relationships for their own satisfation or to act like this only exists in a vaccum. there’s only so much blocking and blacklisting can do. these people need to truly understand that what they do DOES NOT EXIST IN A VACCUM. THEIR WORK IS LITERALLY NORMALIZING THE SUFFERING OF HUNDREDS OF REAL PEOPLE, EVERY DAY. AND THEY DON’T CARE. and i don’t care if they’re hurt by the cold-heart truth of the matter. what they do DOES hurt people. it hurts real people. their work is used to groom and normalize this kind of abuse, it is literally used to normalize these things. its LITERALLY used to make kids and the like think it’s totally okay for it to happen to them IRL. and thats not okay. it will never be okay. and yes, they should absolutely feel ashamed for it. they should feel ashamed for treating the experiences of me, and people like me, as if it’s some cool, harmless thing to get off to.
