Purple witch girl is from the same game Warrick and Dusk were in. She wasn't able to escape their world being destroyed and died. Warrick and Dusk are dealing with their grief of her in different ways. Warrick wants to bring her back, while Dusk wants to make sure the kind of loss that happened to him never happens to anyone else.

I wonder how many villains actually join the Syntax like, percentage wise. Even if youâre not âA Decent Guy outside of terrorizing villagesâ Bad Guy like people think Snappers was⌠I dunno man it just seems like âHey I know we just helped your arch nemesis defeat you and destroy your planet, but Join Us!â should be a very hard sell for *most* baddies.
That's definitely true, but I imagine the fact that there's nothing to go home to probably makes it somewhat enticing! The options are join this guy and hope he's not lying when he says he has plans to stop this from happening ever again or say no and have nowhere to go, like not even homeless you don't have a planet to sleep on.
I also think the smarter villains probably clock onto the 'this guy will kill us if we say no' thing Warrick has going on and might try to coast working with him until they can find a new place to go.

Something I just noticed is that Fold and Miss Informationâs computer stations are on the elevated platform above the other Syntax work stations, but below the platform where Warrickâs throne is. It had kinda passed me that those two where the second/third in command (especially with how Fold is treated) and I had assumed they were just good agents. But upon rewatching this scene, it makes more sense why those two would randomly get up from where theyâre working without permission and start discussing the Farcade Recon Ship directly in front of Warrick.
They probably do a lot of collaborative work together (both during and outside of field work) if thatâs the case. Theyâre also probably doing more computer work (analyzing gameworlds, setting course trajectories, float research, etc.) than actual field work on a day-to-day basis considering the setup.
I should draw Warrick in my holy freaky style instead of the Gameoverse one.

I feel like Warrick would inadvertently treat Spica like theyâre closer than they actually are, having be able to open up more about his frustrations and goals and such to the being he thought had âturned to floatâ (who yes, did, but his version.)
Spica on the other hand doesnât exactly know how to feel about this (actually he does, he kinda likes it, he likes the attention), but of course heâd also poke fun at Warrick for it too. And a LOT.
Heâs also aware that heâs technically a âstand inâ for the real otherâs counterpart, they both are. And they both know this, they just donât bring it up because, well, itâs awkward as hell.
