I think Fold is likely the most redeemable character on Warrick’s ship. This is because of the way he was being treated on there, from Miss Info ragebaiting Fold…

…to Warrick beating him for letting Kit and her gang on the planet.

Look at his expressions carefully:

You can see the fear in his eyes, right? But why?

Well: What if he used to be some kind of hero in an already dead game world and ended up being the only survivor? If he met Warrick, did he have no choice but to join his team because of what happened to Snappers?

However, we do not know his past and how he became a member of Warrick’s team, in which this remains a mystery if he is redeemable or not. I hope we can get answers in future episodes to be honest.

Kit Bodega

👾 Kit does this with her friends a lot so you may not notice, but she pays compliments anytime she can. Telling you good job when you help out, praising your selflessness at throwing yourself into the cause, assuring you not to worry? You look great. Even through little things, Kit wants you to feel appreciated and valued.

👾 Gets a little more playful during training. “Come on,” she teases, running just out of your reach with a wide smile, “Keep up!”

👾 Her loyalty shows: she’ll have your back in almost any argument and if she does think you’re going too far, she takes a softer approach to correct you out of genuine hope you understand.

👾 Kit eventually opens up to you about her nightmares, the dreams that haunt her and are hidden from everyone but Kaboodle. Until now. Tearfully smiling at you and resting a hand on your shoulder to thank you when you tell her you understand completely and if she ever wants comfort after one to just ask.

👾 You may just catch her staring every now and again, especially when you show that heroic side of yours that has Kit gaping in awe!

👾 Her tail gives her away: it tends to drape gently over your shoulders or brush along your legs when you sit or walk next to Kit.

Kaboodle

👾 Tip off number one? He distinctly refers to you as ‘not an idiot’.

👾 Will in no uncertain terms tell anyone who’s making fun of you or even just fucking with you a little to shut the hell up 😌

👾 Plays it off as taking you under his wing. Slinging a robotic arm around your shoulders and giving you the “stick with me and you’ll be alright” spiel.

👾 If you have something you frequently need, like medication, a certain tool, or even just a little something to help your bloodsugar spike, Kaboodle suddenly always has the like ready to go in his storage. How convenient!

👾 Wants to have running jokes with you and tease a little more. When he’s personally overseeing your education on repairing the Nimble he jokes that you’re the only one he trusts. When Gobbles’s tablet goes off with perfect timing, calling out ‘Goat’ after he does something heroic, he goes “That’s right”, metal hands on his hips. Five seconds later and you two are laughing harder than you have in a long time and you best believe Kaboodle will call back to it.

👾 When you either agree with him or make a sufficiently sarcastic comment he does go “I like this one”. Oh yes Kaboodle? How much do you really like them? :3

Gobbles the Learn-O-Saurus Rex

👾 Gets really nervous around you and sometimes verbalizes this. “Do you…like to sing? Why did I say that, that was so weird. Do you…like music? Yeah, that was what I meant the first time!” Give him a break, you’re so breathtaking and he is literally learning as he goes 😌

👾 You suddenly find snack packets and juice boxes appearing outside of your quarters on the ship. Wonder who gifted you those?

👾 One time, you reached over and pulled Gobbles closer to straighten his tie and he literally couldn’t form another coherent word for five minutes straight. It was as if all his consonants were stolen all over again!

👾 Man becomes a complete encyclopedia of facts about you. He asks you so many questions but it’s so he can recite it all: your favorite food, what flower you prefer, how you like your coffee/tea, your favorite color and animal, what the silliest thing you’re afraid of is that Gobbles would never make fun of you for and would do anything to keep you from experiencing ever again.

👾 Gobbles can be dead focused on writing something or a lesson he’s doing but when you show up? It’s practically tossed aside, his full undivided attention shining onto you.

👾 He gets braver as time goes on! “Don’t be scared. Take my hand.”

Flappers the Super Dolphin

👾 “Don’t tell anyone, but you’re my favorite!”

👾 Offers you hugs the moment you look even slightly down, sharing with you his belief that hugs make everything better 😌

👾 Lets you ride on his back, telling you to hold on before taking off! But also warning you to tell him if he’s going too fast please! Absolutely beams at the sound of your laughter and whooping, his smile going goofy and twitterpated at the privilege to cause your joy.

👾 Your absolute hype man forever and ever 😌 You use your powers or battle combo? “Wowee, that was so cool!” Help Flappers with something? “Thanks,” he says your name with a special joy, “you’re the best!” Change outfits? “Lookin’ sharp!” Come up with a solution? “You always have the best ideas.”

👾 Flappers randomly appears by your side, almost startlingly if he wasn’t so sweet about it. You’ll feel the rubbery brush of dolphin at your side. “Whatcha doin’? Need any help?”

👾 Woe to anyone who ever puts you in danger. Your dear, sweet friend Flappers is suddenly not so sweet, every muscle in his body expanding and contracting for the sole purpose of teaching them a lesson for hurting someone as wonderful as you.

Warrick

👾 𝓞𝓱 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝔂 𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝓰𝓸𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓸 𝓫𝓮 𝓽𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓪𝓼𝓼 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓱𝓮’𝓼 𝓰𝓸𝓷𝓷𝓪 𝓫𝓮 𝓱𝓲𝓽𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓱𝓮 ‘𝓢𝓘𝓛𝓔𝓝𝓒𝓔 🗣️’ is that corny? I DON’T CARE IT’S TRUE. Why is it true? Because Warrick has a soft spot for you and they all see it. Everyone gets yelled at and ordered around with vitriol and reckless abandon but one: you. It’s hard to earn compliments from Warrick…unless it’s you. Fold protests once that your shared boss literally chokes him out and the worst thing he’s ever done to you was say ‘you can do better’. “I mean, that’s ENCOURAGING!”

👾 You’ll never open or close a door for yourself again when Warrick is around.

👾 You become his right hand in a way. He sits you down with a patience you didn’t even know he had to show you how the Floaties work, taking one apart and putting it back together before your eyes. He tells you about plans first and sometimes tells you to keep an eye on the other henchman or show Crab Girl around.

👾 Remembers everything you say. Brings up an offhand comment you made once about something you didn’t like, claiming he hates it too and they should just avoid it altogether.

👾 ‘They said no pickles’ energy BIG TIME. Literally stands behind you glowering at anyone who inconveniences you and treats it like a slight to himself or, you know, a chance to beat the shit out of someone and pull some sort of insubordination card.

👾 People don’t believe you when you say you’ve seen him smile and you’re just like yeah? I made a joke and he found it funny?? Granted it was quite sarcastic but so what??? You take everyone’s gaping as being dramatic not the sign the big boss is down bad that it really is 😌

Miss Information

👾 Probably going to break the touch barrier pretty fast, but very casually. “What are you looking at there?” She’ll ask, leaning and practically draping her arms over you to peer at the screen you’re focused on.

👾 Queen of ‘if they tease you they like you’. Will joke about things you do unless they’re clearly offensive or hurt your feelings, probably comes up with a nickname to call you, may playfully mess with your hair or hold things out of your reach. Playground crush energy tbh but she somehow makes it a little sexy.

👾 Assigns herself to missions with you under the guise of being the one capable of getting it done, but really it’s to protect you.

👾 Actually provides you with helpful tips, like hanging around to watch and aid while you’re cooking and suggest things to make it even better. Gives you little life hacks to make tasks she knows you hate easier or have less sensory discomfort.

👾 Develops a little habit of twirling a bit of hair around her finger as she talks to you.

👾 Only chalant for you. She may dismiss her teammates or even laugh at their struggles, but Miss Information stops in her tracks and actually asks you what’s wrong.

Fold

👾 Shapeshifts such as to literally puff out his chest around you.

👾 Uses his abilities to be ‘the tall one’, fetching anything and everything for you, sometimes before you even ask him to.

👾 Hangs around to emphasize all your points and burns with a yEAH! or a THAT’S RIGHT!

👾 Pulls the “Let me show you how it’s done” as an excuse to put his hands over yours or even fully stand back to chest and guide you at something. Does he teach you the thing well? Shhh that wasn’t exactly Fold’s plan here.

👾 Fold’s typically sadistic smirk melts completely to a soft smile when his eye is fixed upon you.

👾 When Fold’s anxiety takes over, he tends to stick to you, sometimes literally, his papery hands clutching your shoulders or taking yours and his form huddling at your side. You just help him feel safe.
