Marcel and Porco both love to "claim" Reiner, much to Reiner's flustered (but delighted) confusion

Mans is only ever portrayed as a toxic narcissist and I honestly struggle to see why. Like, he’s cocky, for sure, and definitely overly so but not to a toxic degree imo

I also find his story very interesting and tragic in a way bcs wdym you were left behind despite being obviously better than Reiner, wondered why you had to be the one that got left behind for years while you waited for your brother to return only to learn he died weeks (2-3 at most if I remember correctly) after leaving ???? Like I would resent Reiner and be mean to him too if I thought he was the cause for my brother dying.
