Laios is the best character by a LENGTH INSURMOUNTABLE
Marcille has the fucking audacity to treat Laios as second shit despite him doing just as much to save Falin if not more. Look the characters don't miss me off that much I just have attachments to my boi Laios and I don't feel he gets his proper do's in a way that matters, he does so much, maybe not as much but he is still a man that stood by his sister despite everything and wants her home and safe.
Laios never forced anyone to help him or do the things they NEED to, yet I feel they don't really process my man isn't here to kark about, he just happens to need to do things he's uniquely adjusted and eager towards and yet everyone's all

Honestly, this storyline hits really hard.
I’m glad they brought this topic up, because the Hazbin Hotel fandom has been discussing this aspect of redemption for a long time already.
And I completely agree with the conclusion that not every sinner can be redeemed, no matter what Charlie believes. Sadly, she has never lived a real human life and doesn’t truly understand how cruel and horrifying people can actually be.
Pedophiles and zoophiles do not deserve redemption.
Rapists do not deserve redemption.
Nazis and racists do not deserve redemption.
Brutal serial killers and sadistic murderers do not deserve redemption.
They simply do not fucking deserve it.
But that doesn’t mean everyone who ends up in Hell is beyond redemption.I can absolutely accept that sex workers, who were forced into prostitution just to survive, can make it to Heaven. Drug addicts and alcoholics who lost their way because of depression or life’s hardships also deserve a chance. Thieves who stole out of necessity deserve a life. People who took lives not out of cruelty but to protect themselves or others deserve a second chance. People who committed suicide in deep depression deserve a second chance as well.
The good thing about the hotel’s idea is that if you committed a minor or forgivable sin — like Pentious — and then truly redeemed yourself, you can make it to Heaven. And there really are many people who made mistakes in life simply because no one helped them when it mattered. With support, they might never have fallen so far in the first place.
That’s exactly who redemption should exist for.
Not for true monsters.
