Saw this handgrab in a reel and my alysmond heart is jumping

Ok i have never thought abt their connection in this way and now i am going insane over it. And on second thought now it’s rhaenyra instead of Viserys but both daemon and alicent are guiding figures to her who once again holds the authority over them. They tell her, show her that the world doesn’t work this way in order to have some semblance of control through their maneuvering. Oh i am going so insane.

I personally think cersei owning a lion would heal her

I know house of the dragon was never about them and that the show eventually had to grow and expand the story but I'll always miss those small bits in season 1 showing the targtowers as a dysfunctional family of unwanted/unloved kids. it's by far my favorite part of the story and I wish we could've gotten more time exploring the effects of a neglectful father and a mother that resents you but also puts so much pressure/expectations in you. it added so much depth to the characters and I'll always mourn what better writers/a better story could've done with it
