need the House Whent theory to become true because it would genuinely be the funniest shit to ever happen in the asoiaf fandom

people making fun of Aegon and Aemond saying Helaena was always Alicent's favorite child and like yeah but that doesn't mean she loves her more. the thing is that Alicent just doesn't love any of her children, not even Helaena. the reason why she's so desperate to save her is because she sees herself in her. it's not for Helaena's sake. if it truly was, she would've made arrangements to help Jaehaera escape with them, but she doesn't, because she doesn't see Helaena as her own person, someone that might've a different view on motherhood that allows her to genuinely love her children. she can't understand why Helaena WOULDN'T want to eacape without her child, why WOULDN'T she want to abort her baby when they're nothing more than the chain that keeps her imprisoned. why wouldn't she just leave them all behind to be free?
