when the "it's about two brothers driving around killing monsters" show introduced cain from cain and abel but they didn't write anything about abel because the story literallyyyyyyy wasn't about all that. and they gave cain from the bible a wife who loved him unconditionally and stuck by his side no matter what. and then they said That's Castiel By The Way. unprompted. no one was asking about cains wife. or whether cains wife would be castiel. but they wrote cain being like "hey dean remember my beautiful ride or die wife? that's castiel by the way" and then later they wrote castiel being like "hey dean i'm your beautiful ride or die wife by the way" and nobody ever even asked about any of that. nobody ever asked. but we received

The way Castiel folded so fast after only maybe a week of knowing Dean, he was like "I've begun to feel-" GIRL WHAT.

the ending of supernatural will always be the cruelest thing to me because you take dean and give him a glimpse of the love he had been craving for his whole life, this closeness he was longing for, coming from the one who had seen the worst and the best of him, the one who understanding him like no one else and then you take it away from him and then you take dean and you give him a glimpse of freedom and normalcy, a chance to make castiel's sacrifice count, a life away from hunting and the paranormal a life that was his to live, his to choose a path AND THEN YOU TAKE IT AWAY FROM HIM TOO, and suddenly all his suffering meant nothing because he was born to be a loser in the cosmic game of the universe, isn't it the cruelest thing you have ever seen?
