one of my favorite charlieisms is when Charlie will make that little face to myself as if to say "I don't know about all that..." you know that little face he does when Mac pretends to be straight or Dee says how she's so funny. its like Charlie knows he could roast them but he dgaf ab correcting them rn maybe cus no one would listen anyways or he doesn't wanna get into a whole argument. so Charlie just mocks them quietly for himself and he knows they're too self absorbed to notice. i love my silly guy

I find it very annoying when people ignore Frank’s complexity as a character just because he is an abusive piece of shit to the other characters. I even saw a person one time on twitter say he’s the only character without childhood trauma, ignoring that he was on a psychiatric hospital in the 50s which basically was hell on earth, specially for kids. I think this show gets more interesting and funnier when you realize all 5 characters are incredibly complex people who have trauma that informs their actions and relationships to each other but they ignore everything so they all fucking suck and end up being terrible people
