This is Eaten Asks Anon (two other parts got eaten). To sum up, I've had a lot of labels in my life and while demi fits on the technical level I feel weird saying I'm even on the ace spectrum because all the ace folks I know are sex repulsed and I'm not. I love sex, got a high sex drive, etc. And there's times I find things sexy but I can't imagine having sex with someone I don't already have a distinct deep bond with. Kills the mood completely for me. Thus the whole not fitting in feeling.
Ahh okay. Definitely understandable. We’re a minority in the community, but we do exist, and I think the community on the whole is pretty supportive. I would definitely check out the “unassailable asexual” stuff I linked earlier, as it’s interesting to read how everyone, even sex-repulsed asexuals, feels left out of the community.
More tumblr discussions that should be left to professionals. I hope @demigray someday realizes the harm he is doing.

Hi yes, so I've just recently figured out that this thing that I'm feeling it's called asexuality. I'm asexual. I'm angry and upset and frustrated, at the world -I'm dealing with that, please don't worry- because asexual, was always presented even is the lgbt-community to me as: There's this thing, you probably aren't it, moving on. Sorry, so, people come out for various different reasons. There’s no rule that says you have to. If you feel like it would do more harm than good, or if you don’t see it changing anything one way or the other, you don’t have to come out. Your sexual orientation is really no one’s business but your own anyway.Â
The only relationship it would really have any bearing on is a romantic one. If your partner is expecting a sexual relationship and that’s not something you want, you’d need to tell them that. Other than that sort of situation, your orientation shouldn’t matter unless you decide to tell people so they stop harassing you about when you’re going to start dating.
If you do decide to tell your parents, the best way is to just say it. Make sure you’ve got enough information on your side so you can answer any potential questions they have, but also be prepared for negative responses. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.Â
Why are people asking these things of random strangers on tumblr? I know validation is more comforting than being challenged, but so-called "asexuality" is a sign that there is something seriously wrong with you. "Asexuals" and their aversion to a normal biophysical process represent how repressed our society is about discussing sexual abuse. SEEK THERAPY. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
