My Patreon launched today and this photo is part of the first set! I have a few tiers, one starts at $1 where you can basically just toss a buck my way once a month to be generous and helpful! I may post exclusive selfies at this level!

There is a tier at $4 where you’ll get access to a monthly photo set of anywhere from 5-15 photos (I will try to be on the more generous side.)

The $18 tier will go live in a few months but will give retro-active access to previous months’ sets as they expire after each month, an (eventual) dropbox link to my work created before Patreon as well as outtakes from those, casual behind-the-scenes footage from shoots and/or burlesque shows. You will also receive a one-time 5 x 4 postcard print of me with a message hand-written on the backside! And another any time I decide to get a new photo postcard set made! If I post two photo sets in a month, it would be at this level as well.

💓 Hello, friends!

I am SO excited to announce that I am launching a Patreon account on May 1st for my photos as well as footage of upcoming burlesque performances. Soft, feminine and qualitative representation of black women of size is so important to me, and I put a great deal of care into the photos I create, to inspire women like me to think of themselves in a different, gentler way.

This photo is preview of the first set I’ll be publishing at the time of launch. While I’ll still post some selfies here, I’ll be posting high quality full photo shoot sets there going forward. Pledging gives you an opportunity to contribute to my creative process and support me if you are so generously inclined. Wearing ✶ Elomi Matilda Bra and Briefs in Red ✶ Elomi Sachi Bra and Briefs in Black ✶

Easing myself into shooting again after my big move to Newcastle with a little boudoir session in our new flat! I’d been gifted the Sachi and Matilda sets by Elomi Lingerie as a welcome present to the UK - and I don’t know which one I love more! Always classic red or more contemporary black? The fit is great on both although the Sachi (black)is a little tighter and the Matilda (red) is a little looser in the band. I hook all bras on the loosest setting as you can see! Finding wired bras that actually fit has been so much easier since I managed to figure out my size - for reference, I’m wearing a 36F in both the bras and XL in both bottoms.

ITS TIMEEEEEEEE!!! My favorite time of the year. I’m fundraising for the Chicago Abortion Fund’s annual bowlathon again. The Chicago Abortion Fund is an amazing local organization that deserves love, support, and financial help. They help pay for people’s abortions who otherwise wouldn’t be able to pay for it them themselves by giving them grants of varying amounts. This can only be done with donations - so that’s why I’m fundraising for them. The organization is run by mostly women of color, it is focused on reproductive justice, and is inclusive and amazing. I care deeply about this organization and feel as though it gets overlooked often - so please consider making a donation, even a small one helps.

In 2007 Amanda Knox was accused of murdering her roommate, Meredith Kercher in Perugia, Italy. Naturally, she was like, “Uh uh, not me!” and blamed Diya “Patrick” Lumumba, her boss, and Lumumba was arrested. 

In 2010 Bethanny Storro claimed that she was attacked outside a Vancouver, Wash., coffee shop by a black woman who approached her and asked her whether she wanted something to drink. She claimed the woman said, “Hey, pretty girl,” and then threw a cup of acid in her face, disfiguring her. Police went on to investigate and started to think that Storro wasn’t telling the truth. And she wasn’t.

After Storro held a news conference shortly after surgery, with her head wrapped in gauze, she was booked as a guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show, but she canceled the appearance after Oprah’s staff did some digging and things weren’t adding up.

In 2013, in an exclusive interview with ABC News, Storro discussed how she used the acid on herself in a failed suicide attempt because of a then-undiagnosed mental illness called body dysmorphic disorder. The illness causes an obsession with minor or imagined physical flaws. She admitted that when she was a national story, she felt that she “mattered.” She said, “In that moment I felt like I was cared for and I mattered.” She also claimed that she didn’t mean to blame it on anyone else. Right.
