This is an Iron Lung universe exploration blog by @lxcke. It expands on pre-written material, extrapolates details that were not touched upon by official lore, and creates a story on those details.

I am a classically-trained literature analyst with years of university experience and many more years of hobby study. Iron Lung has become a large point of interest for me. I'm a sucker for pushing along the walls of canon.

My writing style stays true to the psychological horror genre, and I love to tackle whumpy, traumatic subjects head-on. I also paint character portraits, gore, write longform fanfic, and run various story expansion projects:

A prequel story featuring Simon being a terrible person, earning his title as the Butcher during a massive resource war (cool space battles!)

A sequel story detailing the C.O.I.'s reaction to Simon becoming the Bleeding Maple (the mutated flesh-tree at the bottom of the ocean)

An AU story where the blood ocean's hivemind has convinced itself that it's Simon (a concept where the blood is programmable matter)
