There I was. Sitting in he drivers seat, my mind wondering (as it typically does.) the roads were wet , nothing bad, going 40 in a 45, forcing my little old car to move. One turn, two, oh shit. That's when I lost control. Swerving into the other lane, I tried to regain control but it wasn't happening. I released every pedal, locked my arms and shut my eyes for what seemed like forever. I opened my eyes. Slowly, I thought I was dead, I didn't know where I was... I released my seat belt, got out, and cried, screamed, and cried some more. I had gone back across both lanes, through two yards. Which during it I had been air borne for about 10 feet. I stopped 30 feet from a house parked nearly perfectly in the driveway. That's how I became petrified of cars.
