I Can See You is probably Taylor's best music video in my opinion. Yes, it was very satisfying to see an ex involved in some of her re-recordings (Harry next, please, and Joe Jonas on debut) but it's really about how connected you feel to it as a fan.

If you were a Swiftie back during the Speak Now era, this album obviously means a lot to you (It's some people's favorite). It was a turning point for her career and if you liked her DURING Speak Now, you probably were watching her grow since debut.

More than that, though, is the symbolic nature of Lautner and Joey King, who were such big staples during that era, coming together — as a metaphor for the fans, really — to help her "break out" and reclaim Speak Now. There's just something really fulfilling about that.

Just a sense of ... a band of thieves coming together to do what's right? It feels a little triumphant for someone who's been around. And while it IS about Taylor Swift, it's also about this special sense of community. Not that we have with her in some weird parasocial way, but that we have with .... each other.
