Alvis Isn’t Dead He’s Just Waiting

In a hypothetical continuation of Killjoys (free of budget constraints), I’d hope that we’d have just one episode where it’s balls-to-the-wall bananas Xena-style doppelganger shenanigans. Like, we open on Dutch being in trouble…to reveal that it’s actually Aneela dressed like Dutch again. And then there’s a scene of Dutch having to play Empress of the Quad, but also a scene of Dutch-as-Aneela-as-Dutch, and some incredibly contrived reason that Dutch explained away her behavioral aberrations as Empress, to justify Aneela-as-Dutch-as-Aneela, and of course Dutch has gone undercover for some other mission at this point (and we will call this persona Meg), so you have Aneela-as-Dutch-as-Meg, and the mission’s other guest characters getting really confused about Meg apparently impersonating the Empress of the Quad (which is Dutch-as-Meg-as-Aneela), and so on and so forth. And both of them can’t get their stories straight on if Meg lusts after D'avin or Delle Seyah or not, so there are several “private” scenes where their partners are so, so confused. Jaq gets a vision of one of them getting shot, but has no idea which one. It’s a problem. And even their friends are so spun around at the end of the episode that they have the two make pottery to determine who is who. (D'avin vetoed Delle Seyah’s idea of stabbing both to see which one was Hullen. Johnny shushed Lucy from piping up because the pottery idea was funnier.)

so we can all agree now that aneela and delle seyah are one of the best canon wlw couples of all time, yes?
