i’ve only seen two of their scenes so far but this is the vibe

And, truthfully, they did know different Khylens. Yalena and Aneela both have very fond memories of human Khlyen, but Dutch has only ever known hullen Khyen. Hullen Khlyen is not a particularly sympathetic character, but I was very impressed by how well this episode made me truly believe that before Khlyen was hullen, he and Yalena were madly in love and had a fantastically complex relationship that I would love to see more of. And now they’re both haunted by a life and love that’s been irreparably damaged. It was wonderfully portrayed, and the casting for both characters was perfect.
