hey btw being racist and committing racist acts is not always intentional. you can be doing something racist and not know. getting called out for racism if you are being unintentionally racist literally just means looking inwards, growing and learning about how you can be better, accepting that you hurt people, and apologizing for that hurt without expecting forgiveness.

If one more person comes into my inbox to say "but they are adapting the Louis and Claudia dynamic from Merrick" I'm gonna lose my fucking mind. Mfs the racist writing from the episode didn't exist in the books because Louis and Claudia are white in the book. Louis getting told by Claudia's ghost that she hates him is not the fucking problem. Get it into your thick heads that two white men wrote the most virulent old school anti-black dialogue for a black woman directed at a black man when the book they're adapting from didn't have anything of that sort in those pages.
Being 30 is fun. I was discussing anime with a teen at work and asked her how much of bnha she had watched. She had trouble answering and wasn't sure how to approach it.
