(seems I've fallen off the face of the internet for a while yet again, it's been a busy summer) This post was officially supposed to be up a week ago, but alas, better late than never. So here it is, a little reminder that there are now 6 months left until I start posting my Slavic mythology (alternatively: Croatian folk) inspired graphic novel!

It's with great excitement (and a healthy dose of anxiousness) that I'm announcing the date on which my Slavic-Mythology-INSPIRED graphic novel will go live!
It is a passion project that's been occupying the last 5 years of my life and will hopefully continue to do so for many more summers to come..
Until then, I will do my best to keep updating on the progress, share more details with time, and to not just drop off the face of the Earth for months again haha!
In all honesty I don't really know what to write as a description for this drawing. I didn't think it would be this hard, even though it's been months, so I will keep it short and sweet.
We had this sweetest little puppydog for 13 years and this month she would have been 14. I basically made it my mission to finish this drawing by her birthday. We love you and still miss you so much Nolica! <3

Newest illustration of two of my characters (of the main six in the story) from the graphic novel I've been working on diligently, Adrian (left) and Igor (right).Â
Since a lot of the things in my story are inspired by coastal Croatian customs and traditions, so are the things in my illustrations. Here, the characters are wearing attire associated with traditional singing groups we have here called "klapa", and they are playing instruments that I've seen played often on the islands growing up (the accordion and the mandolin).
