I’m so normal about a pair that consists of one extremely devoted person and one person who knows this and utilizes it. I’m talking “I will do anything you ask of me” “You will.” type dynamic. The hound proud to be on a leash that is held by a hunter who already has another dog on standby. Person A who will jump at any signal Person B gives them, who has that raw, amoral kind of loyalty that will kill anyone as long as B says it will, and Person B who may or may not have wanted it this way, who may or may not care in the slightest, but they sure as hell know the lengths Person A is willing to go and they plan on reaping all of the rewards from it. Who cares if Person A doesn’t benefit? Who cares if Person A comes out worse for it or dead because of it? Who cares if B causes the end of the world? All either of them care about is making sure B gets what B wants. And at some point, if B finds that A is not good enough anymore and decides to throw them out or kill them, well. That will be that, won’t it?
