I would say that alpha eren is actually scared, u know? he is goddam scared of omegas because he is an alpha and he knooooows he can submit them and so he is sort of not that used to that power (since he rejects his alpha side) so he is like “nope, omegas are NOT for me”

everything changes when he sees mikasa. his body WANTS to submit the little sweet omega, his knot is THROWING at the thought of sinking in her, swolling and filling her up with his seed and let's not even talk about the fact of dreaming of her full with Eren’s baby

but of course alpha eren is fighting against it, he just can’t have her. he has suppressed his insitinc for so many long that he wants to be normal, he doesnt want any onega by his side. so he rejects her, push her. he will put her on safe and leave her, even if it means hurting her feelings in the process.

I just conjured and idea, i hope you like it 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

first of all, how do they meet? i picture eren as this mercenary type, wandering into an ancient city to take on a job. when the work is done and he’s about to leave, he finds an inn to rest for the night. enter mikasa. she’s heard whispers about mercenary eren and his reputation, every mission completed, every promise kept. but there’s more to him than rumors say. eren is hiding his alpha nature, carefully concealing it, because in their world alphas and omegas are looked down upon, even hunted. (think of it in the alpha warlord eren au world).

mikasa, though, knows. her body tells her what he is before her mind even catches up. she approaches him first, trying to hire him in good faith. she needs his help desperately. but eren has rules, he never works with omegas. they’re trouble, he says. betas are predictable, safe; omegas complicate everything. so he refuses her.

but mikasa is desperate. she knows what’s waiting for her if she’s caught: being dragged into one of those omega churches, turned into an object of condemnation. so, she’s left with only two real choices: she can flee to the desert, and join one of the nomadic tribes where omegas and alphas live free, or she can risk everything and seek shelter in the omega sanctuary hidden deep in the giant tree forest.

of course, neither path is easy and she is just presenting as an omega so, alone? nope, she won’t survive. she needs the rough mercenary alpha to lead her, and she is most willing to pay him. and, in order to convince him, she will have to sneak into his room in the inn ☝🏻🤨 but nithing happens YET.

btw i totally see this journey between them being absolutely drenched in yearning and desire. eren ends up taking care of mikasa, and somewhere along the way, he realizes that it’s not just about a work but he truly wants her, he wants to claim her. but of course, he keeps pulling back, because in his mind omegas only mean trouble. so they both suffer, eren trying to wrestle his instincts into silence, mikasa quietly breaking down because for the first time in her life, she’s starting to feel safe with this big, stubborn alpha who refuses to admit what they both know.

i can see it so clearly: nights where they end up sleeping side by side, close but not close enough, their bodies aching to rub. in his struggle to deny what he feels, eren goes as far as renting two rooms, forcing distance. maybe he even fucks a beta , trying to drown out thoughts of her. but mikasa, in her room, cries because she knows where he is and who he’s with. so eren finally eaves the beta behind, unable to pretend anymore, and finds himself and goes to mikasa...

i actually have a lot of ideas for it, like, showgirl mikasa who made it big, ended up being courted by this kinda demanding guy, and no one really knows why she agreed to marry him in the first place? like a shock for everyon even more when she left the stage. then a year later he just dies. no will or anything, so everything goes to her.

and detective eren’s like, yeah, no, something’s not right here. the story doesn’t fully add up. but the more he looks into it, the more he starts to see what her life was actually like, and why she married him in the first place.

mikasa comes from a peaceful village devoted to the worship of the sun god. she grows up surrounded by faith, taught by her parents to pray to the dawn each morning and honour the god who watches over their lands. for most of her life, the village knows only peace.

until the day it is destroyed.

followers of rival gods descend upon the village in fire and blood, slaughtering everyone in their path, including mikasa’s parents. she is left as the sole survivor, wandering through the ruins alone and slowly starving to death, until the messengers of the sun god finally appear before her. they tell her that eren has chosen to spare her and that she will be protected within his sacred temple. before sending her away, they press a crimson mark upon her cheek, a sign that she now belongs to the sun god.

when mikasa arrives at the temple, the vestal virgins welcome her into their care. they raise her within halls of marble and gold, teaching her devotion, discipline, and obedience. according to their sacred laws, a servant of the sun god must remain pure and untouched for thirty years before she may know freedom. mikasa accepts this fate without question and dedicates herself fully to becoming one of the vestal virgins.

but as the years pass, strange dreams begin to haunt her.

she dreams of a man with brown hair and skin kissed gold by the sun itself. night after night he appears before her, speaking softly, telling her she was never meant to live as a simple servant hidden within temple walls. he insists her destiny is far greater than that.

then, at the age of twenty-two, after twelve years of service, the man from her dreams finally comes to her in the flesh. the man appears before her in the darkness of night and reveals the truth: he is eren, the living incarnation of the sun god, and the time has come for mikasa to rise not as his servant, but as his goddess.
