Garfield Logan has always hated the “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” nursery rhyme because of how his parents died. While living with his abusive legal guardian, Nicholas Galtry, young Gar would lay awake at night, repeating the rhyme to himself, silently singing, “Life is but a dream,” in the hopes that he would wake up the next morning to find that his mother and father were still alive and it was all a bad dream. It has been years since then and he’s yet to wake up.
