hi! you've just discovered my corner of the void.
this is my intro post. online, i go by daybreak, or db for short. i use "lol" a lot over text so that explains the second part. you'll find some essential info in my description. please, feel free to chat with me if we have anything in common, but don't take it personally if we don't click.
i really wasn’t sure whether this should be a journal, an anthology, or just a place to be silly, but i honestly think it could be all of those at once, and then some. if you’re looking for a blog with variety, i’d say you’re in the right place.
i don’t know if i can cover everything about this in one post (nor do i want to, for the sake of brevity), so you’ll just get to know more about me as time goes on. i love music, illustration, anime, and video games, plus a thousand other things. i give myself too much downtime and i suck at deadlines, all of them, all the time. i might have some unorthodox interests, so don’t judge me, because i’m not judging you. i have ocs, lore to explain them, all that good stuff. ask me about myself or my ocs; regardless of which, if i want to answer, i will. the ask feature is probably the one i'm most excited about.
i’m still new to tumblr, if it wasn’t already obvious. i also don't have a lot of social media, so if i seem out of my lane, i probably am in some way. this is going to be a sfw blog for the most part, so you shouldn't come across any graphic depictions of sex, violence, etc. there isn't going to be any in-character themes, gimmicks, nor endless side blogs for you to fail to navigate. everything here, including my art, writing, and shower thoughts, is mine. if anything else important comes up, i'll post about it and pin it, just like i did here. in the meantime, enjoy my ever-expanding universe.
