Dattongue

I have this idea of an AU where, instead of the lightening bolt shooting down and bringing creature to life, it hits lisa and sends her back to creatures time period. Her appearance doesnt change, she’s still wearing the same clothes she has on at the party. In this AU Lisa has a Walkman with some songs she’s into.

Things happen, she runs into creature who she is able to recognize because of his bust.. he’s different from the guy we see in the movie. He’s just been dumped by his ex and he’s miserable and heart broken. But he also recognizes her. The previous night he had a dream about a girl that looks a lot like her (similar to the dream in the movie but from his pov)(since Lisa got struck with lightening that night, he’s the one that has the dream instead)

He takes her in since she has no where to go. Time passes with them getting closer, him telling her about his ex and Lisa comforting him or something I don’t know. Anyways she eventually shows him her Walkman and introduces him to the songs she has before the batteries eventually die. He’s partial to one song and figures out how to play it

Climax of the story is him playing the song at some event and his ex is in attendance.
