My ideal Star Wars movie would be a nature documentary of cute space critters narrated by the robot from Rogue One, who clearly knows nothing about nature and is making the descriptions up as he goes along.

This is a tauntaun. It is very stupid. This is why it keeps trying to lick my carapace, perhaps in search of salt. I cannot comprehend why it thinks I contain such a mineral.

As you can see, it has tiny arms for no reason whatsoever. It uses them mainly to punch annoying protocol droids, or so I have convinced C-3PO. As you cannot see, it smells disgusting. Luckily, I am able to turn off my olfactory receptors. This is yet another reason organics should seek to imitate droids more closely.

In most circumstances, the tauntaun is utterly useless. Here on Hoth, it is useful for transportation, but only because various hydraulic fluids freeze in these condition. I have suggested rendering the tauntauns down into tallow and testing the result as a substitute, but my suggestion has been rejected as “pointless” and “evidence that he’s taking the salt licking thing far too seriously.”

To summarize, this is a terrible animal.
