Post-Crisis DC has something special because when characters meet they all have unique dynamics even if they already know each other while in current DC everyone knows each other and everyone is blandly friends.

I think it's incredible that every writer's solution to Alfred's death is that "Bruce (or someone else) will just hallucinate Alfred and he'll say pretty much exactly what Alfred would say and play essentially the role Alfred plays" and then everyone will go "Alfred should stay dead" and it's like. okay but he basically isn't. Batman writers are so dependent on the Batman-Alfred dynamic they just have Bruce hallucinate it. what difference does it even make if he stays dead at this point. what are we fighting for here.

readcomicsonline getting nuked is bad for all the obvious reasons but also its insane considering those artists/writers confessions that they get sent pages with the readcomicsonline banner at the bottom bc dc and marvel dont have any kind of internal reference or register for most shit. shooting themselves in the dick
