To me X-Men 97's greatest strength is that its pulling from ALL the eras of X-Men stories.

Bastion's finale form from S1 was straight from Second Coming which came out in 2009.

The clips that aired earlier today showed off the Final Horsemen from Uncanny X-Force.

XM97 is not afraid to pull from the vast history of the X-Men and it makes me excited. Because they've already done Dark Phoenix, DOFP, Asteroid M etc. We got Operation Zero Tolerance and Genosha last season.

The possibilities for future seasons are endless. House of M, Emma's Massachutes Academy, Utopia, heck even Krakoa. And since they're really open to blending the generation of mutants. Everyone has a chance to possibly see their faves pop up at any time.
