The point of not linking entire articles are two fold:

1.) Nobody likes huge posts stretching the screens

2.) Journalists depend on article clicks to get paid.

If you wish to quote an additional part of the article, you’re welcome to do that. But I thought what I quoted was sufficient for people to determine if they wanted to read more or not.

You can’t give the same sulympathy to someone who is chronically ill because then they wouldn’t be able to do things on their own or continue with an independent lifestyle. But sympathy can be given in that aspect if that person is a friend to them and helps them manage whatever pain or ailment they have so that person could live with as little pain and discomfort as possible.

Also what op is gettinf at is that you get something from someone’s sympathy. They probably think it expires because it involves getting something from that sympathy. That’s not always the case.

Stop telling the chronically ill that they are lying or misrepresenting what they experience.  Stop being a fucking little shit and just acknowledge that yes, things really are this fucking bad for us.

Why would you even fucking assume that what we are talking about is gifts and money when what we are talking about is how we are fucking isolated and alone and shunned by the people who claimed to love because we had the audacity to get sick.

“The children most affected by the changes to the education curriculum are the same children who are at the highest risk of exclusion, harassment and violence,” Chief Commissioner Renu Mandhane said in a statement.

“This is not the safe, welcoming education experience envisioned in the Human Rights Code. We stand with students across Ontario who are using their voice to make sure all students’ human rights are respected.”

The United Conservative Party says it does not share the “hateful views” of Soldiers of Odin, after three UCP candidates were seen posing for photos with members of the extremist hate group.

Photos posted on the Soldiers of Odin Facebook page show UCP Edmonton-West Henday candidates Nicole Williams, Lance Coulter and Leila Houle smiling while posing with some of the group’s members at a UCP pub night in Edmonton on Friday.

At least 10 members of Soldiers of Odin are visible in the pictures, wearing hats, hoodies and leather vests emblazoned with “S.O.O.”
