As well being in the process of being diagnosed as autistic I also have some mental health issues causing hallucinations and delusions so try to avoid making joke that would cause me paranoia

I like art , Greek mythology , gothic fashion , the Magnus archives , knives out and a mix of other interests

I collect and share chaotic personal stories

Episode 1/Day 1

(20th of July 2026)

StAtEmEnT bEgInS. Episode 1 was my favourite kind of horror. It had me kicking my legs excitedly like a middle school girl writing about her crush in her diary, as any good horror does :)

Wrote some names down. Jonathan Sims has a pleasant voice to listen to

My first day of work was also wonderful 🥺

The workplace is amazing and I have so many human rights! I'm definitely the diversity hire, though. Everyone is so boring (but kind)... I hope they were being boring on purpose to blend in and that me saying I want to talk to ghosts during the ice breakers will bring everyone out of their shells...

Both the podcast and my job seem like they're going to be interesting XD

OH MY GODS I AM SO SICK OF PEOPLE SAYING SOMETHING IS A BAD THING OR SOMEONE IS A BAD PERSON BY SAYING THAT THEY ARE A “psychopath” or a “sociopath” or a “narcissist” or “psychotic”

And it’s NOTHING to do with the neurodivergence or mental illness?!

Just a big fancy word they associate with evil

A fictional villain does something bad and “gasp they are so evil, it’s so psychotic!”

And so many things like that

it’s just vilifying perfectly kind people who are just different from the person throwing around big words they don’t care to understand

-"It Is Polite To Knock", first and foremost. and there's a running theme of antagonistic forces knocking. eg, Jane Prentiss never attempting to force her way in to Martin's house, but standing outside and knocking for days on end, Natalie knocking politely on Kathy's door when she tries to recruit her to the Dark cult and never barging in, etc etc

-the Distortion doesn't tend to force people to enter, it waits for people to come in on their own

-Mike Crew's "I was trying so hard to be polite"-- and his attempt was pretty solid! he was legitimately polite up until then, and would have probably continued being polite if Jon didn't keep doubling down

-Peter Lukas cares about proper workplace management and takes actual workplace suggestions from his employees. And agrees to do fewer murders.

-the ONE thing Jonah-Elias is famous for is apologizing. Imagine the most evil thing you do in your life is apologizing for the deception

meanwhile the archival staff are beating each other to death while calling each other 12 slurs per day. they've never tried to be polite for a single second of their lives.
