Satanists consider Halloween a satanic holiday.
They see it as a time to connect with the dark side, both inner darkness and the dark supernatural realm.
Witches and black magicians celebrate the holiday by performing rituals. Satanists believe the day as a strong opportunity to make contact with the demonic realm - even the devil himself.
The church of Satan on its website says about holidays: ‘Satanism is a self-centered religion, the highest holiday of the year would be to Satan his own birthday.’
It says of Halloween: ‘A time when one’s inner self might be explored through the use of a costume, or one might recall those of importance in one’s life who have died.’ About Halloween, it adds: ‘We see this holiday as the night when the mundane folk try to reach down inside and touch the darkness which for Satanists is a daily mode of existence.’
But also remember, that Satanists are a secret society. And like all secret societies, they don’t reveal their secrets to the public.”
