i remember coming home sobbing from school when my theater teacher would only cast me as dogs and racist caricatures. i remember when i would apply and reapply deodorant and perfume because the girl would say i smelled like shit to me every day when i was the only brown kid in that class, i remember seething with rage every time some would say "your so eloquent" in way that was clearly implying that they expected less of me because i was brown, i remember getting angry when people would tell that i should get deported. if you had a racist phase i am not going to be the person to forgive you, go fuck yourself.

i think something we all need to understand better especially us tmes is that assigned gender at birth isn’t an identity it’s something that was done to you

puttering around the house is an underrated form a self-care. make some tea or coffee. put on a podcast. sort the mail. tidy some pillows and fold some blankets. start the laundry. thaw some soup. just casually wander around aimlessly doing little things to make your space and life a little nicer. who cares if you get distracted or only do a little. you aren't being productive. you're puttering.

I am making a concious effort to not say 'terf' anymore because trans woman excluding radical feminist(twerf) is wayyyy more accurate about what these people are doing. trans men/transmasc people aren't necessarily excluded from their hateful rhetoric, but the vast vast majority of their hate is directed towards trans women. we are who they constantly obsess over, and in fact there is a significant number of trans men who are sympathetic to twerfs!
