Conditioning Conditioning Conditioning!!!! Started off with a run, which SUCKED. Then two of my favorite MMA conditioning drills. Drill 1: 100lbs sandbag Power clean, basic punch knee combo, sprawl, 80lbs sandbag ground to over head. Back and forth, 5 minutes, wearing 18 plate carrier................... Just some of the highlights of me getting to roll with @ryrongracie. Dude is a freak of nature. He had already been rolling straight for 25 minutes with a new partner every 5 minutes and no breaks. This is another example why you need to learn jiu-jitsu. I outweigh him by 120 lb and he destroys me with skill. One of the hardest fight simulation conditioning drills I've ran in a long time. 10 seconds of basic punch combos focusing on keeping your chin down, hands up, and speed. Then you have 10 seconds to do 1 power clean, and 2 Scoop and Slams with 100lbs sandbag.
