Daniel sighed. The TV had long gone black after episode four was finished, and fingers tapped lightly on the leather edge of his seat as he considered what they had just witnessed. The episode, it had been PERFECTION. Almost. He frowned, thinking again as he oft did of Jaime Lannister. 

DYING HURT. Who knew? Daniel had just been attempting to hug his son Edd - attempting to APOLOGIZE for what they had done to him. It had been a very necessary, warranted death, he had thought. One that certainly could not have been avoided without changing the entire course of the plot of the show. At least, that’s what David and Daniel had PLANNED on telling the poor wight. After the hug. 

The meat bag sighed, or perhaps all the AIR was simply pushed out of his lungs as the blade ripped upward through flesh and membranes, cracking bones as it passed through him. He lay on the ground for a moment, shocked at his son’s actions, before the flesh and sinew began to again pull together, the intricate inner workings fixing themselves neatly. Like a zipper closing a bag, his body began to slowly piece itself together. 

He was a showrunner. His own SHOW would not be his downfall - only the ratings later on. 

Straightening up, he offered his wight son a smile, holding out an arm for another hug. “Sorry, Edd! Misunderstanding, I’m sure... I was just trying to say ‘HEY’!”

Episode 7

We open to a slow pan of the red keep. Little remains but corpses, a hint of the life that once filled its halls. The carnage is widespread, and the iron throne destroyed, melted with dragon fire. A slow, dramatic song plays as we see the faces of our once-loved characters, lifeless shells of what they once were. 

Cue a whistle (think hungover football coach). Sitcom-like music begins (think Seinfeld). 

We pan ALL the way back out from King’s Landing and over to Essos, where the Hound alone has survived the carnage. He’s happy, finally. Fire is banned from his world. Cold soups are all he eats, but he does not mind. 

Then, Sansa wakes up. It was a dream. She is but a sweet summer child, tomorrow she is to travel to King’s Landing with her father and sister Arya. She decides that perhaps they should not go, and warns her father. He’s like “Yeah, you’re probably right.”

All was well. 

…

“I don’t know about that Dan; I think killing characters is more of a cappuccino thing!” the man exclaimed as he entered the door and made himself comfortable, the folder in his hand now placed in the table. Spreading the papers around him, he looked up to his friend, his comrade, his amigo, his best buddy, his bffl. “I never thought you’d ask,” he grinned. “See, you know how Arya isn’t going to marry him? For now,” he said, suspiciously. “Well… we are having Arya go South, and we can have Gendy move to help– Dany? Danielle?– with her campaign. They beat the Night King, but they don’t know Cersei!” he exclaimed, one hand actively in the air. “They’ll fall in desperation, and Arya will find it in herself, as difficult as it is for her, to marry him as she can’t lose the man she loves.”
