honestly iâm sick of white women talking about normalizing âuglinessâ when theyâre talking about features that majority of people of color have and only a few white people have. like youâre gonna complain about your nose which is a little big and crooked and uâd look at other people of color who are just minding their own business and tell them we need to normalize ugliness!!!! like stop weâre not ugly, your ancestors decided that weâre ugly and now weâre still trying to unlearn it i know u thought you were saying in it in a feminist way but itâs actually racist af. like this belief that the point isnât about being beautiful itâs about learning to accept yourself is worth nothing because u choose to give women of color a label anyway. your sentiments come from racism, like what if i tell you today that i donât want to think of myself as ugly lmao.

Transgender Day of Visibility.
Every time Im struggling or thinking about ditching backgrounds I always remember
would much like to point out that the people publishing these articles are trying to needle millennials into treating gen z with the same disgusting vitriol we were treated with.
donât buy it.
our younger brothers and sisters might eat a tide pod and get us blamed for it, but we have more in common with them than we ever had with boomers or gen x.
they are terrified of the things we can do together. remember that.

THE HANDMAIDEN 2016, dir. Park Chan-wook
people think sexism is so insignificant that when emma stone merely acknowledged greta gerwig (âthese four men and greta gerwigâ), the only woman nominated that year for best director and the first woman nominated in almost a decade, when announcing the category, people called her racist because one of the men nominated was black and another was a white mexican. nevermind the fact that jordan peele was the second black male director nominated for two years in a row and the third in four years, and that the past three out of four best director winners had been mexican men (GDT would go on to win that year and cuarĂłn again the next, making the past five out of seven best director winners mexican male directors). spike lee would also be nominated the following year. another director of color, bong joon-ho, would win after cuarĂłn took home the 2019 oscar, in 2020. in fact, the only non-hispanic white director (all male) that had won since 2014 was damien chazelle in 2017. in that time, not a single woman had been nominated. greta gerwig was the first woman to be nominated in 8 years since katheryn bigelow became the first woman to win (and the first woman in 5 years to be nominated since sofia coppola in 2004) in 2009. in that time, i donât think a single female directed film won in any of the major categories (picture, director, acting, screenplay, cinematography). and yes i am VIOLENTLY beating a dead horse on this but this is such a frivolous issue and even here there is not even a shred of empathy to be had for women and even more so, anger and resentment that women speak as women at all
The discovery that men donât find Margot Robbie attractive in Birds of Prey really just drives home the fact that I have no idea what straight men find attractive, and neither do I care
repeat after me:
crying is a HEALTHY release of emotion ANDÂ a great way to complete the stress cycle
it also grants you a tiger
The images beg the questions: why does little girlsâ clothing âneedâ to be tighter, shorter and more constricting than boysâ? Is it easier to move in such clothes? Play in them? Run in them? What is it grooming girls to wear later? How is it grooming them to perceive themselves? -Â Peggy Orenstein
Iâve seen this post before and it makes me angry every time, by the time these kids are adults they will think this is normal, that this is the norm. Finding comfortable clothes shouldnât be as difficult as it is, and even more in the case of children.
Plus, at this age, the differences in size and body types between boys and girls isnât even that evident. Thereâs no reason for different fits.

IMPORTANT!!! SIGNAL BOOST THIS SO IT COULD HELP SOMEONE IN NEED!!!!
@official-lucifers-child @friendlywolfgirl @yoshiyoshikage-tira-munchakoopas
i know you tagged me because i can signal boost this but⌠this is me? and iâm actually thinking of calling this number?
One time iď¸ met this guy who was a primary care doctor and iď¸ found out he was really into ~kink~. Iď¸ remember he told me that a woman patient came into urgent care with intestinal pain, and he had to give her a rectal exam. He said he really liked having his finger in her ass, and was really turned on.
This is why Iď¸ never, ever see male doctors. Just because theyâre medical âprofessionalsâ doesnât mean theyâre not sexist predatory scum.
In one of my anatomy classes as an undergrad we were examining a female cadaverâs abdomen. The male doctor teaching us told us that we might find artificial rips in the peritoneum because âthis one has been pretty rapedâ (by which he presumably meant damaged by previous students). Honestly Iâve never felt so fucking creeped out and disgusted.
And hereâs a good reason not to donate your body to science if youâre a woman
jesus how disgusting
I rea on a newspaper a few years ago than in France where I live, medical students are sometimes asked to give a vaginal exam on women under anesthesia, to practice, because âthe women never agree to it when awakeâ⌠I donât want to look it up for fear that it might be true or a common practice. There was quite a stir at that time though. No one talks about it anymore. Maybe because it might cause a national scandal? Iâm exhausted.
Like I told my sister the other day, men shouldnât be doctors. At least not for women.
I looked it up, and yeah, I found a lot of articles from 2015 about medical students giving vaginal exams to unconscious women.
http://www.europe1.fr/sante/toucher-vaginal-sur-patientes-endormies-le-consentement-en-question-2363923
Here the doctor theyâre interviewing claims theyâd never do that, but when heâs asked if they tell the women a student is going to give them a vaginal exam, heâs like âsometimes we forget I guess? lol who cares anyway weâre treating themâ
http://www.lemonde.fr/sante/article/2015/10/27/le-ministere-de-la-sante-veut-empecher-les-touchers-pelviens-sous-anesthesie-sans-consentement_4797795_1651302.html
And here we have another piglet saying patients implicitly consent to vaginal and anal exams by medical students because training on dummies just doesnât feel as real.
Supposedly they donât do that anymore.
I want to vomit, this is sick.
There are so many practices in place in our society that make death preferable to making yourself vulnerable to the men who are supposed to be helping you
Men always - ALWAYS - see womenâs bodies as objects, props, playthings that they just LOVE to play around with. Itâs unfortunate, isnât it, that so many women have a concept of bodily autonomy and donât want to be poked and prodded and penetrated by random men without consent. Because then men have to go and find OTHER more creative ways to get what they want from women. Learning to respect women and stay the fuck away and finding healthier interests than womenâs bodies is out of the question, obvs, because men are pigs who donât want to learn.
Btw, that also goes for gay men, who are usually very much into womenâs bodies, even if itâs not in a sexual way. Which is how so many of them love womenâs fashion, make up, etc., that is centered on âfixing upâ women. And how so many men love doing drag - and putting on all the padding, and the ultra-sexual outfits, the painted face, all the âpartsâ they like in a woman that they add on top of their own selves. Because even if theyâre not sexually attracted to women, they still love the idea of playing with womenâs body shapes and sexualized imagery.Â
