RULES, REGULATIONS & BLOG INFORMATION:
"The fine print nobody likes reading but everyone should probably read anyway."
First and foremost, thank you for visiting my blog. Whether you're here to write, browse my muses, send asks, scream about headcanons, or simply lurk from afar, I appreciate your presence. This page exists to establish boundaries, expectations, and general etiquette for interacting with both me and my characters.
I understand that rules pages can seem intimidating, but I promise they are not intended to discourage interaction. Quite the opposite, actually. These guidelines exist so that everyone involved can enjoy a comfortable, respectful, and enjoyable writing experience.
Please note that these rules may be updated at any time. Major changes will usually be announced, though minor edits may be made without notice.
✦ Hello, I am Eliza! You may call me Liza!
✦ I am the writer behind every muse on this blog.
✦ The mun is twenty-four hours a day a real human being with responsibilities outside of Tumblr. This includes traveling, working as a paranormal investigator, family, friendships, hobbies, health, and simply existing as a person.
✦ Because of this, Tumblr will never take priority over real life.
✦ My activity level may fluctuate significantly. Some days I may answer twenty threads. Other days I may disappear for two weeks or more and return with no explanation beyond "life happened."
✦ I do not owe anyone constant availability.
✦ Likewise, nobody owes me theirs.
✦ I value communication, understanding, and patience above all else.
✦ If I seem distant, please do not immediately assume I am upset with you.
✦ More often than not, I am simply busy, overwhelmed, distracted, or lacking muse.
✦ This is a private, selective, independent multimuse roleplay blog.
✦ This blog contains multiple muses from different fandoms, timelines, universes, and genres.
✦ Every muse exists independently.
✦ Every muse has their own history, relationships, experiences, traumas, strengths, weaknesses, and development.
✦ Interactions with one muse do not automatically transfer to another.
✦ Please remember that character knowledge and writer knowledge are separate things.
✦ Many of my portrayals incorporate personal headcanons, expanded lore, alternate timelines, and reinterpretations of canon material.
✦ Canon is respected but not worshipped.
✦ I reserve the right to alter, ignore, or expand canon material whenever it better serves my portrayal.
✦ Following does not automatically guarantee interaction.
✦ Following simply means I am interested in your content.
✦ I am highly selective about who I follow.
✦ This is not because I think my blog is special.
✦ It is because maintaining a comfortable dashboard is important for my enjoyment of Tumblr.
✦ I prefer following blogs whose writing, characterization, and general atmosphere align with my own.
✦ I may take time before following back.
✦ Sometimes I follow immediately.
✦ Sometimes I spend weeks observing a blog first.
✦ Please do not pressure me into following you.
✦ Repeated requests for follows, interactions, or attention will likely have the opposite effect.
✦ I curate my online experience.
✦ If I unfollow, softblock, hardblock, or otherwise remove myself from a situation, it is usually for my own comfort.
✦ Common reasons include:
• Frequent callout posting.
• Repeated vague posting.
• General unpleasant behavior.
✦ I am not required to provide explanations.
✦ Likewise, nobody owes me explanations if they choose to unfollow me.
✦ Please do not reblog roleplay threads that do not involve you.
✦ Please do not insert yourself into existing threads without permission.
✦ Please do not use my blog as a personal reblog source.
✦ Please cut posts whenever possible.
✦ Please trim threads when appropriate.
✦ If you're unsure how to do either, don't worry. It's not the end of the world.
✦ Communication solves most problems.
✦ Random interactions are welcome.
✦ Planned interactions are welcome.
✦ Long-term plotting is welcome.
✦ Chaotic "I threw my character into your inbox at 3 AM" interactions are also welcome.
✦ My writing length varies dramatically.
• Multi-paragraph responses.
✦ Length depends entirely on inspiration.
✦ You are never required to match my word count.
✦ I care about substance, not numbers.
✦ Give me something to work with and we'll be fine.
✦ Quality always matters more than quantity.
✦ I prefer writing partners who focus on storytelling rather than competition.
✦ Roleplay is collaborative writing, not a contest.
✦ Some threads may receive immediate responses.
✦ Certain muses are louder than others.
✦ Certain threads inspire me more than others.
✦ This does not mean I dislike you.
✦ It simply means my brain works in mysterious and occasionally inconvenient ways.
✦ Gentle reminders are perfectly acceptable.
✦ My reply speed is unpredictable.
✦ Repeated pestering is not.
✦ If you send me six messages asking about a reply within forty-eight hours, I will probably stop wanting to write it.
✦ This blog is multiship.
✦ Every ship exists in its own universe unless otherwise discussed.
✦ Chemistry comes first. Always.
✦ I do not enjoy forced ships.
✦ If our characters click, fantastic.
✦ If they do not, that is perfectly okay
✦ Romantic relationships are not required for meaningful storytelling.
✦ Family dynamics matter.
✦ Complicated relationships matter.
✦ Not every interaction needs romance.
✦ Please do not repeatedly push for ships after receiving a no.
✦ Respecting boundaries is attractive. Ignoring them is not.
✦ Duplicate muses are welcome.
✦ I genuinely enjoy seeing different interpretations of the same character.
✦ No two portrayals are exactly alike.
✦ We all bring unique perspectives to the characters we love.
✦ I have no interest in "owning" a character.
✦ Canon characters belong to their creators.
✦ We are all simply borrowing them.
✦ Comparisons between portrayals are unnecessary.
✦ Respect each writer's interpretation.
✦ Original characters are loved here.
✦ Please give me information to work with.
✦ A biography, pinned post, carrd, or information page helps tremendously.
✦ I adore passionate OC creators.
✦ Tell me your worldbuilding.
✦ Let me hear about your character's tragic backstory at three in the morning.
TRIGGERS & CONTENT WARNINGS
✦ This blog may contain mature themes.
✦ Potential topics include:
✦ Everything will be tagged to the best of my ability.
✦ If I miss something, please let me know politely.
✦ Kindness goes much further than hostility.
The following boundaries are non-negotiable. Please respect them.
✦ Keep callout culture, cancel culture, and unnecessary drama away from this blog. I am here to write stories and enjoy my hobbies, not participate in public conflicts.
✦ Do not involve me in Tumblr drama that does not concern me.
✦ Do not send me anonymous hate, gossip, screenshots, or information intended to start arguments between writers.
✦ If you have a personal issue with another writer, please keep me out of it.
✦ I am not responsible for policing the roleplay community.
✦ Do not use me as a therapist, mediator, or conflict resolver.
✦ Please respect my privacy. What I choose to share about myself is my business.
✦ Do not pressure me into sharing personal information.
✦ Do not guilt trip me for slow replies, inactivity, declining plots, or choosing not to interact.
✦ No means no. Whether it's a ship, plot, thread, or interaction, please respect my answer the first time.
✦ Do not force relationships between characters.
✦ Do not force friendships between writers.
✦ Please remember that roleplay is a hobby, not an obligation.
✦ I reserve the right to leave any conversation, thread, plot, or interaction that makes me uncomfortable.
✦ I reserve the right to block or softblock anyone who repeatedly ignores my boundaries.
✦ Respect my comfort levels and I will respect yours.
✦ Most importantly: Be kind. We're all here to write, create stories, and have fun.
If you've reached the end of this rules page, congratulations. You survived.
Thank you for taking the time to read through everything. It means a lot that you care enough about writing together to respect my boundaries and expectations.
At the end of the day, roleplay is supposed to be enjoyable. We're all here because we love stories, characters, creativity, and collaborative writing.
