I have no doubt that the similarities between Emet-Selch/Hades from FFXIV and Solas from Dragon Age and their overall storylines have been written about long before now, but every time I think about them, I feel compelled to put it to paper.

I suppose it should come as no surprise that these two are my most loved fictional characters, with Emet-Selch probably coming out on top. They are so similar, in fact, one must wonder if the writers exchanged notes or cheated off each other's papers. They're both named Solas/Solus even...

Because no one asked, and for no other reason than I felt like it:

I think what I'm REALLY trying to say is... I miss Emet-Selch.

And I really need Solas to fill void...
