My thoughts on the new Pokemon

1) Omg dat fluffy plant owl tho it has its own fandom already even 2) I love the angry fire cat most, I feel like I can relate to it and maybe trust it 3) The soggy water dog is ???OK??? I always go with the water starter, but now I'm not so sure 4) Thanks Nintendo for giving me a reason to continue living on this planet a little longer 5) Oh shit I’m going to have to buy this game… I’m going to have to buy at least two copies of this game 6) Because Taurus and I are going to argue over who gets Sun and Moon versions , who gets what starters, and the fact that no for the 800th time I don’t want to battle him so I usually buy myself an extra copy to do whatever the hell I want with 7) Damnit tho why is Taurus such a better Pokemon trainer than me T_T 8) How much of my precious adult life will I piss away on Pokemon THIS time 9) Oh shit more starters means more Pokemon 10) More Pokemon means that I’m getting way too old for this… Will we break 1,000 this time?? 11) God I love Pokemon, best freaking part of my childhood =^__^= 12) *whispers* … Fanart.

I’m sorry I haven’t been on Tumblr in so long. So much had been going on in my life. Work has taken much of my time and energy, and I spend about three hours a day just commuting to and from work. Work is scary– I have no prior experience in the field and honestly sometimes I wonder about why they haven’t fired my useless ass, haha. I’ve also recently started the long and arduous process of finding an antidepressant that doesn’t completely turn my brain to pudding (I have major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder which are by no means new to me, and sometimes therapy just isn’t enough to cope). I’m also trying to follow my therapist’s suggestion to spend my free weekends with friends, fiancé, and family.

In a more optimistic vein, much of my spare time is also spent planning for my fiancé and my wedding– it’s less than a year away, and a lot of the planning is actually enjoyable. Oh and my fiancé is helping me to clear a small space in our apartment so I can finally set up my art supplies which are still in boxes from our move back in January… Also, we adopted kittens (Named Dennis and Sweet Dee– bonus points to anyone who gets the reference), and they are just so precious to us. They have really helped me to cut through the fog that has been hanging around the last few months.

I haven’t forgotten about you guys or this blog. I just need some time to adjust and recover the ground that I have lost. Among all things, I think the most recent prescription is actually doing more good than harm; I’m hoping that soon I will have more time and energy to return to some of the things I used to love doing so much.

June 2nd Update

Hello all! I just wanted to let you all know that this blog is still active, and that I am doing well. I just started my amazing new full time job, and between that, the ridiculous commute, chores, social life, and wedding plans with my fiancé… Well, I will probably be a lot less active for a while until things settle.

I miss my Moonie friends very much, and will be here on the weekends to post updates, as well as more lovely colorings and other graphic goodies. Thank you for continuing to follow, I love your support! It means so much to me that there have been lots more Sailor Moon manga colorings on Tumblr lately– keep up the good work!

Please remember that my anon is always on (for my precious shy moon babies), and that I will usually get back to you within a 24 hour period, if not sooner. I love to share my methods, so if you would like some tips on colors, graphics, glittergifs, free resources, tutorials, GIMP, etc…. Let me know!
