I will forever be disappointed at what they did with Caine in the finale. Iām happy with the direction but everyone forgiving him (while implying a slow build up) was so quick from the audienceās perspective.
Also Caine, someone who repeatedly showed a lack of understanding in social cues, human behavior, emotional ANYTHING- did some self reflection, realized heās wrong and was able to accurately communicate his emotions?! Like flawlessly!?!? Is this even the same Caineā¦
Im glad they chose to have Caine see the wrongness of him actions and try to understand the humans. But it would have made so much more sense if he went to the humans with āhelp me understandā rather than āI understandā
