but to sum it up:

The story is that Jax is stuck in their mind, post finale. Kicks open that break room where the other Jaxs were playing cards (and piano). Breaks open the chained door in that room to free someone just as lonely as them!

Lily, who appears to be a smaller (girly?? 🧐) version of Jax, is a representation of what’s true about Jax deep down - insecurities, vulnerabilities, (transtranstrans), and what you know from right to wrong. Prior to abstracting Jax kept all those things repressed, but spending time with Lily will help them understand her a little better.

All he needs to do is fully embrace her as part of him……easy peasy.

SO this is gonna deal with themes like self-love, accepting yourself, learning to do better, realizing you deserve better - basically becoming the best version of yourself!

I narrowed my choices down to titles that I think would fit, but could use opinions! What do you like the most? What grabs YOUR attention??

Hey I was gonna save info dumping for a master post but here’s some tidbits and drawings I made!

So Jax here is the one Pomni found at the lamppost. Tired, depressed - been stuck in their mind, abstracted. Tired of being sad and alone, Jax goes and grabs someone else who could use company - one who kept making noises from that chained door in the break room!

Lily (I call her Lil J, cause she’s a little Jax) is a representation of what’s true about Jax deep down - insecurities, vulnerabilities, (coughTRANScough) what you know from right to wrong. Jax always kept those things repressed and would deny them up until meeting her (that’s why she small bean)

After some time together they become hella sibling coded. She’s not afraid to tell Jax off for something they know is wrong (“Hey - why DO you treat Gangle that way??”) or say things that they know about Jax that they didn’t fully know themselves (“Well of course you’re jealous of Zooble!”) But like a little sibling Lily will ask questions about the circus, what the people are like. She briefly remembers Ribbit - the one who got closest to her - and she actually saw Pomni outside her door and tried calling out (when the other Jaxs yelled “SHUT UP”)

Whenever Lily addresses their problematic tendencies, Jax starts to actually reflect - subconsciously starts setting a better example for her, since… well. She’s all they’ve got left. Raising her, helping her grow, teaching her right from wrong. But even Jax is still unsure what IS right or wrong. The more they talk, she helps guide Jax towards answers that feel more right. Jax is the embodiment of “Don’t do things like I would, do better than me”

They’re learning from each other, really.
