Hey what's up, just popping on the feed to put some things into perspective. Most people aren't diabolically evil. Most people aren't searching for new and horrible ways to hurt and maim. Not physically, not mentally, or otherwise. A lot of people in fact probably qualify under the "short sighted" end of things, especially on the Internet.
Do certain actions still hurt? Sure. Does it still require accountability? Obviously.
But people, dare I say, deserve an avenue and time to internalize and rectify their own mistakes for themselves. I think that deserves to be step one.
People don't need a mob, they don't need judgement, even when they DO decide to talk about it, either side.
It's even possible for that to take a while. It might even be a while before an actual constructive convo happens. And sure, it still might not work.
But we're all still learning, even if sometimes we think we've learned something enough.
