If you don't believe me that Carly Simon, Lucy Simon, and James are entirely relevant to TTPD, here is some concrete proof. TTPD released on April 19th, you know what else came out on exactly April 19th in 2016? Taylor's 73 questions with Vogue interview where she said that her favorite song lyric was "I had some dreams, they were clouds in my coffee" from You're So Vain by Carly Simon and then she made this lyric the visual ending of the KARma MV. Right after the Carly Simon comment she filmed the iconic "You should take her to Big Sur" scene before walking back in where you can see photos of her and Karlie framed on the shelf. .....on April 19th. It is undeniably connected.

Now I'm going to back this up with the HEAPS of evidence that majority of TTPD is through the lens of Karlie and Taylor being the reimagined do-over of Carly Simon and her exes James Taylor/James Hart. You're going to want to take a seat for this one.

Lucy was in a sister musical duo with Carly Simon and guess what the genre of music was? Folk. Hold onto that thought about Taylor being James in Folklore because she was named after James Taylor, that's important. Also keep in mind Betty is short for Elizabeth, tying Betty to Karlie/Carly.

Lucy Simon is best known for her work as a composer in the musical The Secret Garden. Sound familiar? It should, and it's from the song of Taylor's that puts this puzzle together.

I hate it here starts off with the lyric "tell me something awful, like you are a poet, trapped inside the body of a finance guy." And then goes on to say "I hate it here so I will go to Secret Gardens in my mind".

Now remember how I mentioned Carly Simon had 2 James exes? Sure everyone knows about James Taylor, but what we all looked passed for so long was Carly's second husband, James Hart. And when you look him up, you find something that matches that prior lyric a little.. all too well.

James Hart also known as Jim, was a closested gay poet who worked as an insurance salesman and he did not come out as gay until 20 years into his marriage with Carly Simon. In other words, James Hart was a poet trapped inside the body of a finance guy......

Taylor is James Hart. And this was the James she named herself after in Folklore, not James Taylor. She has metaphorically been James Hart majority of her discography, and she told us in Lover.

Remember how I said James Hart remained closeted for a total of 20 years of marriage to Carly Simon? In Daylight, Taylor says "I've been sleeping so long in a 20 year dark night, and now I see daylight"

This is where we pivot back to the James Taylor of it all because it is important to note that Carly Simon and James Taylor's wedding anniversary is on the first day of Daylight Savings being over, Nov 3rd.

On Nov 3rd 2024, exactly 38 minutes before Daylight Savings ended and after Taylor just played "The Prophecy x This Love" and Maroon x Cowboy Like Me... Karlie posted herself at a WEDDING with MAROON nails in broad DAYLIGHT despite it being 1:22am Central, doing the TTPD peace sign.

You seriously can't make this up.

Daylight Savings ending meant the clocks went back, like going back in time, to change the Prophecy. Now Taylor explains the Prophecy as being destined to not end up with her one true love. And she mashed it with "this love came BACK to me". Which is the entire premise of The Alchemy with lyrics like "making a comeback to where I belong, your heart said it's STILL reserved for me."

And the final piece of evidence that this story of TTPD is told through the reimagined lens of Carly Simon / both James is in The Alchemy. Because the alchemy IS what undoes The Prophecy.

In The Alchemy Taylor says "he jokes that it's her*in but this time with an e." , and many fans have struggled to understand what this lyric refers to... but it is very obvious for those who have paid attention to her use of Carly Simon and James Taylor.

So now we turn to the question, WHY did Carly Simon and James Taylor split in the first place? I'll let you read.

Meaning when you put everything together, the overarching message is that THIS time it was different, THIS time their love came back to them, because the person named after Carly Simon, and the person named after James Taylor, DID end up together in the end. Changing "the prophecy" that destined their love to fail in the same way that Carly and James did.

Also the "heroine" part to the joke is because in this version they are both women.

And it all goes back to Red with Begin Again. Because who would she be talking about that had as many James Taylor records as her, if not the woman who was quite literally named after Carly Simon?

I wonder if she ever gave us any sign that Begin Again was about Karlie.... oh wait.

In the Begin Again MV you can see a CAR license plate in the background, and it literally has Karlie's full name and birth year in code.

thanks to a wonderful submission from kaeliekloss, it has come to my attention that in the december 2012/january 2013 issue of teen vogue, there is a short section which focuses on karlie kloss and joan smalls mentioning people they would have liked to interview while hosting MTV’s House of Style. in this short section, karlie mentions taylor:

but wait a minute – this is 2012, and taylor wasn’t at the met gala in 2012, so it’s not possible that introduction and conversation took place at the 2012 gala. they were, however, both present at the 2011 met gala:

then, in february 2012, as we all know, during taylor’s first cover story of Vogue, she was quoted saying, “I love Karlie Kloss… I want to bake cookies with her.” 

it seems as though, according to karlie herself, that taylor and karlie had met each other briefly and the baking of the cookies became a joke between them. why then do they insist they met at the 2013 victoria’s secret fashion show?

this just makes me think of all the potential kaylor interactions and secrets we will never know about. it seems as if they had actually met in 2011 and yet this is never mentioned, and through all my kaylor-researching, i’ve never found any other indication that they had met previous to VSFS 2013. our girls are sneaky.

It is fun that Demi just followed Taylor though. We’ll see if anything more comes of this apparent ending of a feud, at least from Demi’s side, and so soon after she left scooter. It’s also interesting that the supposed Taylor and Olivia feud is cooling off, just after that Karlie blind, and now this song on her TikTok. It reminds me of 2018-2019 and Katy Perry. Karlie got ROASTED for hanging out with Katy but then a few months later, the feud was ended with a literal olive branch.

Absolutely! Great points. Wasn’t sure of the specifics regarding who followed/unfollowed who and when but it seems like a shift is happening. Hopefully for the better. Taylor is a class act no matter what. It didn’t surprise me to see her singing along to Demi.

Demi has been intereacting with comments/posts about Taylor and posting about her in her story and TikTok today so there’s that. Coming from her definitely is interesting. Especially after dropping SB. Her and Taylor have a long history that dates back to the beginning of both of their careers. I’m curious what gave her a change of heart.

Do they really believe she spent six years with Joe, pining for a relationship that was over nearly ten years ago now? (Which Karlie was supposedly "with" Josh throughout, btw?) Do they not think it would be kind of desperate and homewrecking of her to try and "win back" Karlie by playing these songs on her birthday, just weeks after she supposedly had a second child with the man she loves? Does that line up at all with who they think Taylor is? Half the show is crammed with Kaylor imagery! If they're not still together, all of this is the equivalent of Taylor still being hung up on Harry or Jake. To any grown adult her age, Taylor pining like this wouldn't seem cute - it would seem weird and unhealthy. But Gaylors would rather think that - would rather believe she's as immature as the hets think she is - than expand their horizons to include the idea that maybe their self-professed anti-hero signed off on a lavender marriage, so she could have kids while still in the closet.

I get why it appeals to younger fans to see her as this pining victim of Karlie's choices, patiently waiting for her love to come back to her. But older fans? How do they square this? Like, come on. That's really your view of Taylor? That's really how you're interpreting all those lyrics where she takes blame for being an asshole? 🎃 didn't make you reevaluate a thing, despite Taylor herself appearing to sign off on the messages?

No? Bizarre.

I said to a mutual just yesterday, that I believe a lot of these Gaylors know the truth deep down. But they have taken a public stance that Kaylor is over, so they are going to ride that stance to a crash landing. It is group think, and no one has the courage to say, 'wait, maybe I have been wrong, and the Kaylor's have been right all along.'

Hey guys! I do love doing research and work behind the scenes for some other gaylor blogs you might know, such as @swiftiesleuth. 

While researching Taylor, I realized there was a big gap in the “gaylor timeline” as it were. People kind of just skip straight from Emily (🤮) to Dianna (✨), and write off any time in between that as the “Lost Years.” Well, I love a challenge, so I decided to dig into it.

As I did, people like @swiftgron-get-married and @mercuryonparklane helped along the way, and with their help, I was able to cobble together a glimpse into another time. A time back when Taylor was more open with her fans, writing lengthy posts about her life on MySpace. Back when she did her own hair and makeup with Liz and Caitlin. Things were simpler. And, because of that, I think TayLiz is a really good place to start when we’re looking at what has lead us to the place and circumstances Taylor is today. 

I also just wanted to say I fully believe Liz’s two big relationships with men (Jason and Bryan) were real. I don’t think she was bearding or covering or anything like that, especially in the case of Bryan. When it comes to Taylor, I’m a little less certain (we can never really know for sure with either of them), but I think approaching a timeline with an open mind is a good idea, so I’ve approached this as if any and all of Taylor’s public and speculated relationships could’ve possibly been real, including the men.

Ok, so I did some digging just to be sure to answer all of it as best as I could, because I too need to sometimes check my bias.

I don't know if Taylor and Dianna are on good terms. They could totally be.

But beside the fact that I'm convinced William Bowery is Karlie (I'll give my reasons in a bit), I don't think the fact that Taylor recorded some songs at Marcus Mumfords' home studio means anything concerning William Bowery.

William Bowery has credits as Song Writter and not producer. Taylor wrote those songs at home and needed a studio to record so even if Dianna could have been there (High chances that she wasn't) the songs were already written, so she would have had credits as producer if anything.

Taylor said that she recorded Evermore at his studio. All of Folklore's vocals were recorded at her own home (Kitty Committee Studio) because of quarantine and she was still in quarantine in LA when she recorded Evermore. So how would Dianna have been able to help her write for Folklore too? Because William Bowery has credits on Folklore as well. Here's exactly what she said during LA N2 show about her recording at his studio: "I could not find a studio, essentially, and so Aaron was like, 'OK, let me call around and see if there's anyone who's cool and nice and generous and might be willing to offer up their home studio -- if you do the right amount of testing, you're totally locked down, you're fully quarantined," Swift shared. "So I was like 'Please, I really hope somebody comes through. And so he calls me up and he's like, 'I have really, really good news. Marcus Mumford said that you could record at his home studio." "First of all I'm so excited that he's saving us, because, without this trip, we couldn't have recorded -- five or six of the songs on evermore came from me getting in a car, driving six hours out into the country, past thousands of beautiful sheep, to Marcus Mumford's beautiful house where he has a studio. So, I got to do this." (X)

They were in the middle of the quarantine, hence why she was looking for a place to record since everything was closed. And as Jack said, she was fully quarantined at that point. Marcus Mumford's studio is in LA (X). Wich is a good thing, because Taylor was in LA during the Quarantine while writting Folklore and Evermore, she talks about it in her Musicians On Musicians interview with Rolling Stone. (X) Do you know who else was in LA during the quarantine?? Karlie! (X).

Dianna used to live in LA it's true, but she moved out and sold her house in 2016. Since then, she's been living in New York. So I don't see how it was possible for her to be in LA when Taylor was recording at her own house for Folklore or even for recording Evermore at Macus' studio when the reason Taylor could do it was because she was fully locked down.

And worth mentionning again, William Bowery is credited on Folklore too and has writting credits not Producer credits.

So for all those reasons, I don't think it makes sense to say that Dianna is William Bowery.

And now, there's so much that points at Karlie actually being William Bowery... more than just being exactly in the same city as Taylor during lockdown.

When Taylor wrote Folklore and recorded it directly from her home.

But this is already... a big Koincidences...
