your purpose is not a destination. your purpose is a moment, is a feeling, is an action that happens right there / right here in the present. you aren't where you want to be? enjoy your life until you get there. you have no clue where to go? pick a way - and if all fails, turn back around and start over. no biggie. life gets tricky sometimes. but who wants it smooth sailing? not eye.

You still have time. Time to change your wardrobe. Time to get divorced and married again. Time to change majors. Time to learn a trade from scratch. Time to pay off debts. Time to travel. Time to love and be loved. You still have your whole life ahead. Whether you're 19 or 66. You still have so much time. But you have to take it.

Collect small astonishments. The first tomato of summer. A dog dreaming in its sleep. Someone laughing before they finish the joke. The moon arriving before the sun has quite departed. We keep waiting for life to announce itself with trumpets, but it has always preferred quieter instruments.
